ako din kasi parang hindi ko na rin ipapa assess work experience ko kasi nabasa ko sa booklet, hindi naman mandatory, sayang yong AU$300.

Hi Michel,recruitment consultant ako.I think one would still need an assessment,what am I referring to that is not mandatory is the points test advice.

Hi Michel,yes it's expensive but at least ma sure mo kung ilang years yung relevant sa nominated occupation mo na acceptable sa DIAC.

@skyline and @michel_75 although point test letter (advisory letter) is not mandatory, it is still highly recommended one get it if you would be claiming point for your years of work experience. The advisory letter is quite different from the normal assessment. The advisory letter is to tell DIAC that your work experience has been assessed to either be relevant or not to your nominated skill while the NORMAL assessment is to assess the relevance of your educational qualification and most recent 12 months work experience to your nominated occupation.Although the letter is not mandatory, DIAC still recommends it (see DIAC booklet 6 page 23 & 24).

Hi @Boyolo, thanks for your insight. I have submitted my skill assessment to Vetassee last night, I have availed their Point Advisory Letter to ease my worries na rin & I believe it will expedite the process ng DIAC once I lodge my visa application, since they will take into consideration ung opinion ng Vetassee regarding my employment claim points.

Hello po! Just wanto to ask if anung courier service company ginamit nyo when u sent documents to Vetassee. Surprisingly, TNT, DHL & Fedex don't send documents to PO Box address. Has anyone tried sending documents sa vetassee using ung courier address nila? Level 5, 478 Albert St Eat Melbourne 3002 VIC, Aus. Thanks!

@carla_glam if you are sending by post you can send to their p.o.box address.But if you want to send by courier send to that address - Level 5, 478 Albert St East Melbourne 3002 VIC, Aus - and they will receive it.I used courier for all my transactions with them and it was promptly received.nevertheless, via post is also efficient save the time lag.

Hi Boyolo. Anong courier ang ginamit mo pagpadala sa Vetassess? Nagtry ako tumawag sa DHlL, Fedx at iba pa kaso hindi daw sila nag dedeliver sa address na yun sa vetassess at lalo na PO box. Thanks.

@Dukee - read again @boyolo's statement above.. ginamit nya ung office address ng vetassess and NOT the PO Box.. 😉

^ napadala ko na sa PO box via singpost (speedpost EMS) matatanggap naman daw yun sa vetasses kahit na po box yung inilagay ko na address.

Hi, quick question. Is it necessary to have at least 3 years experience before getting assessed? I'm interested in getting assessed, I have 2 years experience in the profession I will apply but I only have 2 years total work experience.

@star1 it is not necessary to 3 years work experience before you can be assessed. You will be assessed for your qualification with regard to your nominated skill.however, since you only have 2 years work experience, you wont be able to claim point for work experience.so if you would be able to obtain 60+ point go ahead and commence your assessment.

@carla_glam and @boyolo hello guys! since you both submitted na your application, meron lang ako question. i'm planning to submit my application to vetassess probably next week. how did you go about dun sa certified photograph? did you paste it in a bond paper then have the notary public signed it. or dun mismo sa likod ng picture kayo ngsulat at ngpacertify?

iniisip ko kc maliit lang ung passport size picture para magkasya ung words na "certified tru likeness of __________"

another question...if you put trainings and seminars attended in your CV, kelangan mo pa ba magsubmit ng certified true copies ng training certificates or pwede hwag na.

Hello Po, Ask lng po if ano ang pinaka shortest time span ng vetassess result? Sa website nila, it was mentioned 8-12 weeks but parang sa mga timeline ng iba, it takes around 4 months... Thanks

Hi ozzie! Ako phinotocopy ko tapos dinikit ko rin yung original photo sa ibabaw ng xeroxed photo. Yung bond paper ang pinanotaryo ko. Did you do the same thing?

By the way, separate nyo bang sinubmit yung Authority Letter to Charge in Credit Card saka yung VETASSESS docs? Magkaiba kasi yung postal address.
