Hello,

Any nurses here wanting to share what they know when searching for a job in OZ. What particular state has a good salary when it comes to hourly rates?? Thank you po. Also, what can you tell about the nursing jobs in OZ??? =)

Hi, there are a lot of jobs for nurses. It depends on your experience. You can either apply in hospitals, aged care and even in agencies. Hourly rate is from $32 up. It's easy to apply as most of the application are done online. 🙂

i see thanks for the comment. How about working with Australian nurses, are they hard to work with other ethnicity? also, What state has the higher hourly rate? thank you

Australian nurses are easy to work with. Dito sa Melb multicultural which is good. Ang isa sa challenge i guess is yung language (accent plus terminologies) which you'll somehow get used to in time. Base sa naririnig ko mataas sa Perth and Queensland... Theater nurse ka? Theater nurse din yung husband ko. 🙂 In demand siya sa Au.

@jwillboi Student visa to PR.. If you're an overseas nurse you need to study here in Au for you to become a qualified practitioner here.

IDP kami at first sa Phils, dito sa Australia naman AECC global. Wala naman kaming binayaran, the processing is free. 🙂 Yung tuition is around $30,000 for conversion course. If its bridging i think nasa $13,500 ata...

How many years bago tayo pwede mag apply ng PR if going through a student visa?

@katjesuit If you're an overseas nurse you can either do a bridging course or a 1 year conversion. As long as you've finished your course, have your registration with Ahpra and have your skills assessed by ANMAC pwede ng makapagapply kaagad. With Ahpra give it a month or two. With ANMAC around 2months waiting time. Pinakaimportante sa lahat you need to meet the points needed to apply for PR. 🙂

Wow Grabe anh mahal. 1 millions pesos if converted. How many months did you find the Job after graduating the Bridging program? Is it hard to apply for jobs after graduating? B-)

May I ask po since 2months pa aantayin ng registration after bridging pwede na kaya mag apply ng job? (yung wife ko is taking bridging but we are PR already)

@jwillboi 1yr conversion ung sa amin. As long as nakaregister ka na sa Ahpra pwede ng maghanap ng work. Yung bilis ng paghahanap ng work depende sa experience na hawak mo. Mga give it 2weeks to a month kasi yung mga employers they do reference checking pa. They call the references that u put in ur resume so make sure to notify them and that its legit. 🙂 Meron ding agencies where you can pass your resume tapos they give on call jobs as well as aged care facilities.

@Electrical_Engr_CDR Need po na magregister sa Ahpra before u can practice as a nurse here in Au. Ahpra is the counterpart of PRC in the Phils. 🙂 Kung PR na di na ata need magpaassess sa ANMAC. Yung sa Ahpra 1month lang ang waiting time.

@Electrical_Engr_CDR Ehehe wala silang express eh. May waiting time talaga. Ang maganda naman sa Ahpra okay yung customer service nila. You can call them to follow up. 🙂 Age care u mean to say as PCA not as a nurse? Pwede kung may tatanggap sa kanya na magPCA muna but not as a nurse. 🙂
