Hi, Guys! My sister just got her visa grant today! Ang saya ko lang. Hehe. She was granted 3 mos visa na single entry. She was invited by my brother na PR na dito.

Also, think of the foodprice as a percentage of salary sa Oz. $10 lunch is less than the $15/hr basic salary so relatively mura pa rin xa compared sa P100 jollibee meal na almost 25% na ng daily minimum wage. And if tipid mo ka na when working here, pwede naman magbaon.

hello, i plan to travel Australia and spend Christmas 2013. i plan to buy ticket prior on getting visa because i will just buy promo tickets since i am on a tight budget. when should i apply tourist visa if i plan to travel on dec 20?

salamat yukishi. do you think it is safe to book then get visa after? i have a job and travels yearly. from manila i plan to go to peth, then melbourne to sydney and back to manila. i wanted to visit uluru but its too expensive unless you can give me an idea how to have a cheap travel to uluru.

@ckythy08 sis, i haven't been to uluru. Honestly, mag 3 mos pa lang ako dito. May mag invite syo? Risky yung gagawin mo kasi walang assurance na magrant ang visa. Pero if you have the moolah and sufficient evidence for the CO na bigyan ka ng visa GO!

my bestfriend is in sydney, she and her bf is planning to settle down next year but don't no definite plans yet. if natuloy daw ang wedding of course they will send invitation but i am not relying into that. ang issue ko naman kasi if hinintay ko yun visa approval, skyrocketting na ang price ng pamasahe.

You have a point. Mahal na talaga kapag malapit flight mo ikaw magbook. It's not a gurantee kasi ang airline ticket na mabigyan ka ng visa. You have to gamble. Objective naman ang mga CO magbigay ng visa. Yung decision is based on your documents na ibibigay mo sa kanila. Yung kapatid ko madali lang nabigyan ng visa. If may enough funds ka and kaya majustify ng income sa work mo maaprove ka nyan. Kumpletuhin mo lang ang requirements.

hi..im a newbie here... need some advise po.. was planning to apply for a tourist visa early next year.. 2times na po ako nakapunta sa australia both sponsored by my sister.. pero this time po planning to apply via centre without sponsor.. okey lang kaya if i apply for 6months? may invitation letter from my sis and her hubby they're gonna send ung bank statement nila and anything needed pra makahelp sa application ko.

Is it possible for a Filipino to get 12 months tourist visa? My friend is applying for a tourist visa. She's currently employed but plans to end her contract pag ma-grant ang visa. Gusto lang niya mag vacation ng 12 months kasama ko, I'm working in Australia kasi. I will provide for her accommodation, food, etc. No problem naman ang pera sa kanya. Pero wondering lang if possible ba ang 12 months kahaba na tourist visa?

Thanks Jaero sa response. so bale pag di papayag ang DIAC, diretsong visa refusal agad or pwede kayang mag grant sila ng less na duration. Example, nag apply siya ng 12 months tas igrant lang siya ng 6 months? Or denied na agad?

If friend, best to indicate na 3 months. Mas malaki un chance to get visa approval. And depende din sa mga evidences, that 3 months can be 6 or 12 with multiple entry if sufficient un funds na pinakita.

Thanks sa suggestion, Keyar. So now she's contemplating on getting a 3-month tourist visa initially. After nun, plan niya uwi and then apply ulit for another 3 or 6 month visa. Diba usually may 'no further stay' condition ang tourist? Kung umuwi siya and get another tourist visa, when is the soonest time na pwede siyang mag apply kaya?

Hi, ask ko lang to those who have had invited their parents for a visit, ano kaya ang magandang kunin na travel insurance pra sa kanila?..they were just granted a 1 year visa, and will be here early next month. Any inputs, and how much would it cost if their intended stay is almost a year?..salamat!
