It does not hurt to have the certification. Pero nung nag convert ako, sufficient na yung plastic driver's license "PLUS" yung resibo from LTO which clearly states na more than 6 months ka nang may driver's license. But my case was 8 years ago. Di ko sure kung required na ngayon.

we converted from PH to SG license as well last March. tinatanggap pa rin nila yung blue receipt from LTO.

No need na po POEA kung immigrant ka or PR ng any country. All you need to pay is the processing fee of Php200 and the terminal fee.

in this particular issue, i think, requirement lang ang POEA/PDOS etc.. kung dadaan ka pa ng PINAS, bago pumunta ng AU...

so kung nasa SG ka, at ang flight mo direct to AU, wala naman magchecheck sayo nyan..

it is only a requirement by our Phil Immigration sa Phil Airports, so kung hindi ka dadaan sa Phils, hindi mo kailangan nyan...

assuming you went straight to AU from SG, then magvacation ka sa Pinas after with a AU working visa, then you really need to register, either in AU (in Phil Embassy/OWWA) , or sa Phils while on vacation..

hi guys! question when you do your initial entry to AU will they look for the documents you've submitted for the visa application - original or enough na yung notarized?

anong docs irequire nila sa immigration upon your initial entry?

hindi na po kelangang ipresent ung mga docs na sinubmit mo for visa application, you just need to present to the immigration officer ung passport with the sticker (if nagpa visa evidencing ka sa Au embassy dyan sa SG), prepare mo dn ung visa grant letter mo just in case lang n hanapin pero passport is enough

if I may:

yes tama ka @tin0712 - ito yung sticker like the visa being issued including the US; no requirement for this except a duly approved visa sa Australia and payment for this - I think currently at A$70... Mejo pricey!!

nung nagpa visa evidencing ako pero that was 2010 libre nman sa AU embassy, ndi ko alam n may bayad n pala ngayon....pero anyway, punta ka lang sa AU embassy then u bring your visa grant letter then lalagyan nla ng sticker ung passport mo

What if I still need a visa label?

You can only request and pay for a visa label if you have a current Australian visa. Regardless of when your visa application was lodged, or your visa granted, anyone who requests a visa label will be charged.

My Ph license was converted to Sg DL last year, and yeah wala din ako kotse dito, Radio controlled car meron ahhaha...

Simple lang process, go to nearest DRiving center, pasked ng exam, of course dala mo yung Ph DL mo for verification, costs 11.58sgd dati, usually one month na ang next available exam skeds, just review more on road signs, others will be more on common sense na. 50pts yung exam, time pressure, nakalimutan ko na ilang minutes pero 15mins lang tapos na ako 48/50😃 (yabang mode) malalaman mo ma rin agad score mo. Tapos at the same day pwede mo na iconvert license, just dont forget to bring IC and passport, including the old Passport...it cost 50 bucks, after a month u will get the DL card via post

Hi @JPK, wala ako alam na IELTS review centers dito in Sg, sorry, but I think kaya naman mag self-review. What I did was "light" reviewing during weekdays, basa basa lang ng tips and listen sa youtube ng IELTS tips during work (if ok lang mag earphones sa workplace nyo). And during weekends I spent 4-6 hours answering practice exams ng Cambridge IELTS reviewer.
