Hi Allanb,

If that's the case and if your intention is to have your work reference might as well use an affidavit if you are in the Philippines or Statutory Declaration for commonwealth countries.

@allanb - wala ka ba nakuha cert of employment before you left the company?

also, check if you can contact someone you work with (HR/previous manager/colleague) on that same company, who can confirm/sign your employment certificate/detailed job description..

@allanb - aside from the generic COE, you may also include anything that reminds you of your previous work.

hindi ako gumamit ng affidavit dati kasi walang nakapag-advice sa akin non (hehe), but i included training certificates (from both in-house training and outsourced training na sponsored nila), evidence nung work ko (may instrument akong hawak and i have kept 2 hardcopies of its picture, hehe). ok naman. no questions asked from EA/DIAC.

baka may sample affidavit kayo dyan for coe submitted to ACS. most of my companies are closed already so i will be preparing an affidavit detailing my job description signed by my previous boss ..aside sa affidavit anong klaseng supporting docs ang e submit to ACS to validate your employment? please help..thanks

@lock_code2004 hi, maybe you can help me..kasi most of my previous employers nag close na. so ano ba ang dapat gawin dito? i'm collating docs for ACS assessment. mayron akong generic na COE pero walang job details.. so will my procedure be the same sa nabasa ko dito sa forum that i will just ask my supervisor to sign an affidavit detailing my job details and reasons why the company cannot provide a detail job description? for my supervisor, ano ba ang kailangan docs nya to support his affidavit for me?

yes.. supervisor's signature, i suggest, provide copy of ID/passport and contact details in case ACS wants to verify..

@lock_code2004 thanks so much for your reply. follow up question lang, any type of ID ba ito.

additional na tanong, yong isang closed company ko ang immediate boss ko ay yong owner himself na nasa ibang bansa. i tried to ask him for his help pero di na talaga nag reply even with my frequent emails. tapos wala ng ibang work colleague na nag supervise sa akin. anong gagawin ko? baka may mga tao dito who share the same experience. please help. 🙂

@jomel kung meron pa syang company ID mas okay.. Passport too..

Kahit hndi nagsupervise sayo basta alam nila kung ano job desc mo... Example HR nyo or manager sa kabilang team or dept..

Hello all. May tanong lang ako at mejo off topic. Kasi waiting nadin kami ng wife ko sa visa. Nakumpleto namin lahat ng docs at pinasa / ni-lodged namin nung March 11. May consultant kami. Ngayon nag email sakin ang consultant sabi kung meron daw ako na previous employers na nag close kasi daw baka tinatawagan ng case officer at walang sumasagot , baka daw magka problema. Sabi ko naman meron, dalawang binili ng ibang kumpanya at nagiba ang pangalan at isa nag close last year. Yung tatlong companies na yan ay nakapag provide ako ng certificate of employment. Tanong ko lang kung meron ba akong kapareho na case dito na nakakuha padin ng visa. Maraming salamat po!

@Crackedtooth sa akin 2 kumpanya ko ang nagsara. basta notarised ang COE at meron kang payslip or ITR okay na yun. sa akin wala namang issues.

@VicThor yung sakin certified true copy naman and cert of emp ko tapos dito ko na sa Sg pina certify. hintay nalang ako sa resulta. maraming salamat! 🙂

Hello! Just saw this, my prev employer has been closed already pero nakakuha ako ng COE with letterhead signed by the pathology head and manager, small laboratory lang kasi sya so walang HR, sila na din ang HR. Do i need to notarize the COE pa? An sinabi mo ba sa form 80 na closed na yung 2 employers mo? Thank you!

Hello! i just want to ask how did your application go? nagtanong ba ang CO about your closed employer? ano po pala sinubmit nyo na COE? notarized po b? Thank you! pasensya na need to know para magka idea ako same situation here.

@iam_juju basta yung sa akin notarised lahat, COE, payslip, ITR. sa form 80 ko hndi ko na sinabi na nagclose yung mga previous employer ko.

ang gawin mo hanap ka ng magtetestify na nagwork ka sa company na yun. e.g.former officemate or mas maganda kung yung manager or supervisor..

@VicThor kung meron magtetestify ano po gagawin? Reference letter? Or sabihan ko lang muna sya tapos wait ko na lang magtanong si CO tsaka ko ibigay ang contact no. ganun ba? Nagclaim ka ng points sa 2 employers mo na closed db?
