Thanks @rbolante and @nylram_1981. Pwede pala magdeposit sa cc. Never ko pa kasi nagawa to. Thanks for the info. Inquire na lang ako sa bank. Hassle kasi kapag magrerequest ka pa to increase your credit card limit. 🙂

It not "fund transfer", but "bills payment". I just used the term deposited for overpayment. I always use their online facility kasi nga hassle lumakad sa daan ng may malaking perang dala.

i remember a few months back before the skillselect...madami din gumawa ng tulad ng ginawa ni @nylram_1981 dito sa forum. they overpaid the credit card before doing the transaction with DIAC. lahat naman sila naging okay ang transaction. 🙂

PLEASE double check with your respective back to be sure if they are okey with this arrangement of "overpaying" - it is better to be sure, the last thing you would want to happen is that you have already overpaid and di pala allowed ang ganitong paraan... and stuck yung pera mo sa credit card account mo!

@psychoboy Actually, before I do that I asked the customer service, the agent told me na hindi daw puede. I was wondering naman bkit hindi puede? Eh overpay mo lang naman credit card mo, if you're a frequent user of your credit card (grocery, water/electric bills), sandali mo lng naman mako-consume ang overpayment na ginawa mo eh db.

Delikado na ma-charge for paying above the credit limit (whatever that's called in banking terms) kahit may fund yung cc.

I'd rather request for a temporary increase in credit limit than intentionally breaching my cap hehe....Pamatay yung surcharge! Lalo na sa tulad ng BPI at BDO hehe

Sa mga bansang tulad satin medyo "ok" lang..kaso pag nag-apply ka ng credit card sa mga developed countries, nireresearch nila yung credit history mo at masakit sa mata nila yung ganung klase ng transaction hehe

It's best to check with your cc issuer . If its 20 t difference only ang visa payment and credit limit mo,I think it's fine not to ask . But pag more please ask and advise them it's for a valid purpose and 1time LNG. For sure they will be fine with it. The reason why most cc company do not allow overpayment because it is often used as a means for money laundering. Some money launderer would do an overpayment to their cc as a way of "laundering" or cleaning up their illegal money. Making the illegal money legal.

I don't suppose DIAC allows people to charge half of the fee via credit card and pay the other half in cash, right? hehe

I work po in a bank. AMLA po from what I recall sa orientation samin ng BSP is a single transaction of 500k in one banking day or dineposit ng pakonti-konti within the day pero pag tinotal mo is 500k p din. If you have a legal business naman or overseas remitance and you can justify it dun sa bank manager then it is fine.

For the overpayment of 40k, I dont think they will consider it suspicious.

I'll share my experience. I used my Cebu Pacific Citibank credit card with 120k limit, pero 90k na lang yung available. Mabuti naman nag ok yung transaction even with an overlimit of 50k (140k yung conversion ng 3060 AUD). Binayaran ko yung overlimit before my statement date, good thing hindi sila nag charge ng overlimit fee. Lumaki yung points ko, at ginamit ko sya for my plane ticket to Manila for my medicals 🙂, round trip wala akong binayaran. I'm from the province btw. So, thank you citibank (na installment ko pa yung part ng amount) 🙂.
