@optic - you can just use any normal paper.. the persons who provided statements for us just signed it, then we attahed their passport/IDs.. that's it.. we actually never sent it to notary/lawyer.. this is just based on my experience... i guess this one is fine, because we got our visa..

The formal stat dec format is only if you are AU , it will be affidavit in most countries..

so if you want, you can create an affidavit, you can use normal paper, isama mo ang magsign sa harap ng lawyer.. and then have it legalized by the lawyer/notary..

Now, each lawyer/notary office has their own format, so ang isa sa mga suggestion dito sa SG daw, eh magdala ka ng usb na meron copy ng statement, ibigay sa lawyer/notary office para sila magcopy paste ng mga statements.. or humingi ka ng format nila..

Tip* - make sure na blue pen ang pang sign nila, para pag scan mo (colored) at submit mo as proof/attachment sa application online, eh makita na original ang signature..

one major difference.. we were in a country where de-facto relationship is illegal and fatal (lol)..

kaya hindi na namin pina-notarized.. baka pag nabasa ng lawyer eh ipahuli kmi..

@lock_code2004 hello po im new here & im planning to get a student visa. Nabasa ko po sa mga comments dito na halos puro live in partners lahat ng nag aapply for defacto, may alam po ba kau na plain mag Boyfriend pa lang pero may plans na to get engaged kaso 1 year pa lang relationship or less?? ganito po kasi case ko e, conservative type po kasi relationship namin so ang hirap magprovide ng proofs for this visa..wla pa din po kami joint account or billings na same address..sa pictures naman puro kaming 2 lng, never pa namin nksma sa pic un family namin...haaay balak pa naman po sna humabol sa July 2013 intake...Are there any other ways po ba para maapprove sya na dependent ko as defacto partner?? 🙁

@meveavae - i think it that is a very difficult case..

kasi kailangan ng statement ng other people na they know that you are in that relationship

and that the relationship is atleast 12 months..

and some other factors...

so kung wala nun.. mahirap talga yan..

if you are planning to bring him as a dependent, you should also know that will increase your financial proof na kaya nyong mabuhay sa AU.. so dodoble ang show money nyo..

but if you think you can have that financial proof, eh bkt di na lang muna magpakasal, kung kaya naman.. simpleng church wedding or civil wedding.

@lock_code2004 regarding po sa showmoney, sbi po sakin ng IDP hindi na daw po namin need magprovide...may pinafill up na lang na student declaration form (parang promissory note) un na may nklagay "i have access to sufficient funds to support myself and dependents".. i'm not sure nga po kung tama pagkakaintindi ko e pero twice ko naman kinonfirm sa agent..please correct me po if i'm wrong.

naisip ko na din po na magpakasal pra mas madali kaya lang dahil sa conservative po both our families nahihiya kami iopen up sa knila bka magulantang cla kaka 1 year pa lang ng relationship tapos kasal na agad2..hehe

if ever po na tama ung pagkaintindi ko na no need to provide proof of funds and magdecide kmi to get married and ma-grant kami ng visa, pwede po ba maghanap ng employer c spouse while im studying?plan po sana na kapag nakahanap na sya ng employer mag apply sya as skilled migrant..possible po ba un?

@meveavae - if you are correct with the financial proof.. then there is no problem..

yes, pwde naman po un, allowed sya magwork as your dependent..

then either makahanap sya ng employer na mag sponsor sa kanya as PR..

or habang nagwowork sya dun, pwede din syang mag apply as independent skilled migrant..

kung nasa SOL/CSOL ang skill/s nya..

@lock_code2004 ano po yung SOL/ CSOL? pwede po ba sya magwork ng fulltime or same lang kami na 40hrs/fortnight? sa palagay nyo po may maiipon pa po kami if both kami magwork kahit part time lang?

Work - the dependent will have the same work permit as the primary.. so kung 40hrs/forthnight (student visa), ganun din sa dependent.. But i think (im not 100% SURE) iba pag ang student is taking graduate courses (Master/Phd), pwede mag work ng fulltime ang dependent.

SOL/CSOL - eto po ang list ng occupations na in-demand sa AU.. kung nandito ang occupation nyo/nya, pwde kayo mag-apply as independent skilled migrant (SOL skilled occupation list), or nomincated/sponsored by an employer/state (from CSOL- consolidated sponsored occupation list)

I cannot comment regarding makaka-ipon or not, it will depend on your lifestyle/expenses..

Hi @lock_code2004, as part of the evidence na may functional english ako (secondary applicant), eto na yung mga documents na nascan ko po:

Diploma

English Translation of Diploma

Certificate of Graduation

Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction

Enough na po ba yan? Or need ko pa isama ang TOR ko?

4pages kasi yung TOR ko, and right now nasa 48 documents na ang maaattach namin when we lodge our visa application.

Ang worry ko lang po, di ba maximum of 60 attachments lang ang pwede po?

Baka mag exceed na kami.

E di ba meron pa pong mga medical exam forms and nbi forms?

@lock_code2004 sensya na di ko alam kung related tong question ko. Yung wife and son ko ilalagay ko po sana sa dependent pero ang plano namin mauna muna ako tapos isunod ko na lang sila, possible po ba yun? or kailngan sabay talaga kami umalis? Another question, hindi po nakapag college ang misis ko ang option nya na lang po ba ay IELTS? Ang Certificate of English as Medium of Instruction ay pang college po b?

@peach17 - you should merge ung mga document na isa lang ang classification

example:

kahit ilang page pa ang TOR, diploma, Cert of Graduation = 1 document as Educational Qualification..
Yung mga Cert of Employment from diff companies = 1 document.. pinagsunod sunod ko ang mga company based on my employment..

para hindi mahirap mag attach....

kailangan nyo po iattach ang TOR nyo.. 1 document lang po yan ( if you merge all pages)

Hindi po counted ang medical.. kasi hinid naman kayo ang magsusubmit nun.. automatic from clinic to diac po ang submission nun..

tama po.. you should include your wife + kids as your dependent.. para isa lang ang bayad ng application fee...
after ma-approve ang visa nyo, kailangan nyo lang (ikaw,wife+kids) isatisfy ang Initial Entry Date deadline.. so pwedeing ikaw muna ang mauna... tapos sunod na lang sila.. pero make sure na ung pag sunod nila (initial entry) ay pasok pa rin sa Initial Entry Date deadline..

or pwede din naman.. mag initial entry kayo lahat... tapos aftre 1-2days.. uwi na ulit sa pinas..

ung initial entry is a requirement ng DIAC para ma-activate ang visa nyo sa AU immigration...

meron pong ibang option sa English requirements kung hindi nakapagtapos ng college ang wife.. basahin nyo ang start ng thread na ito..

in summary:

a) mag ielts is misis.. required score is 4.5 in each band.

b) cert of english - kung naka pag college or trade course sya ng atleast 2 years.. kahit hindi po graduate pwede yata basta naka 2 years na schooling after high school..

c) not applicable kasi pang graduate ng AU schools lang..

d) kung hindi po talga nag college.. eh eto po ang pwede.. cert of english from elementary and high school.. so both po dapat ay may proof of english cert..

@lock_code2004 ah ok po Sir medyo nalilinawan na ako. Mga ilang days or months po kaya ang Initial Entry Date deadline? Ang malaking worry ko po kasi sa application ay ang Proof of Funds kung included na sila sa application baka po mas malaki ang hanapin sa akin at wala po me maipakita. Tapos ung certificate of english po clear ko lang, sa school mismo kami kukuha tama po ba?

hi @mags, sabi ni @lock_code2004, ang initial entry date dealine ay 1 year from the date of medical completion or nbi clearance completion kung alin man po sa dalawa ang mas maaga mo matapos.

regarding po sa pag attach ng documents,

ibig nyo po ba sabihin, after nyo iscan yung mga COE (say 3 COEs from 3 companies), pinagsama sama nyo po sya sa 1 Word File?

Then yung TOR, Diploma and Certificate of Graduation - nasa isang Word File lang din po?
