piglet24 naku thanks thanks sa mga replies niyo @johnvangie, @arlene5781 and @wizz! laking tulong yung feedback niyo at least medyo clear na. so kung high-risk irerefer lang ako sa mas magandang hospital but still covered ng medicare right? thanks po. @arlene5781: sa Royal Hospital din ako nag inquire kasi dun nanganak sister ko. and malapit sa house nila. so since galing na dun sister ko she advised me to contact them na lang regarding high-risk pregnancy. đŸ™‚
arlene5781 @piglet24 once you visit your GP sila magrerefer sa specialist if high risk pregnancy ka sis. Dont worry kasi momonitor ka nila and bring all your records para meron sila basis. But to tell you bakanipaulit kasi meron sil standards of test sa AU. For me from SG moved to AU on my 3rd month of pregnancy. Pinaulit lahat ng test although kinuha pa din nila test from SG. All the best sis, kayang kaya yan. Have a safe delivery
piglet24 @arlene5781: yes, i am collating my medical records na nga eh. in case na they will be need it. yun din sabi ng sister ko baka dito high-risk ang label ko tapos pagdating pala diyan hindi namn. so i am crossing my fingers talga. i don't mind doing all the tests again. as long as i am well take care of without too much wallet damage. hehe thanks thanks!
johnvangie @piglet24 Yes sis, sa Royal Womens Hospital nanganak ang friend ko. Kahit after manganak, hospital will take care of you. Dito daw is di masyado uso ang CS. CS sa 1st born nya ang friend ko sa Pinas, dito is normal delivery sya.
piglet24 @johnvangie: thanks thanks! now dami na akong information. one last issue to cover na lang talga. kasi we were thinking of going there around 34 weeks na ako. kasi gusto ko sana sabay na lang kami ni hubby pumunta diyan. natatakot kasi akong bumiyahe on my own lalo na high-risk ako. i sent email to the hospital inquiring if they can still accommodate me kahit nasa 34 weeks na ako. or iprefer nila na earlier ako dumating. thanks talga sa inyo mga sis. andami ko talgang iniisip na ngayon lalo na itong panganganak thing.
piglet24 @johnvangie: yes sis, have checked already as long as before 36 weeks ok pa. yun din sabi ng OB ko dito. wag lang after 36 weeks.
piglet24 @arlene5781: sis tanong ko lang when you arrived in Syd, nagparegister ka ng medicare right? nagamit mo ba siya agad and covered namn lahat? Thanks. nag worry kasi ako baka may nagbago na. my sister said, when she arrived nagamit din namn niya agad, but that was almost 2 years ago, baka kasi may nagbago na. thanks sa input.
arlene5781 @piglet24 yes sis nagamit ko the next day when we arrived :-) GP agad ako kasi need to book agad ng hospital for est due date. Wla cost involved
piglet24 @arlene5781: bongga! thanks sis. so yung temporary card lang muna ginamit mo for the GP and the appointment?
piglet24 @arlene5781: ah okies. thanks. now di na ako kinakabahan. hehe kasi namn nag contact ako sa royal hospital ang sabi agad was ineligible ako kasi wala nga daw akong medicare. so magbabayad daw ako until i get my medicare card. kaya nalito ako. thanks sis.
Rommel_Dae Question: We are holding visa 190 and currently po may wife is pregnant and we schedule to move in Adelaide on nov 2015 and probably my wife will gave birth month of march 2016 Sa vising hawak po b nmin ano po bng mga benefits nmin sa ospital? Lalo n sa panganganak. Do we need to pay po ba pag dito n nganak?
taylorsweet Hi, makikisingit din, ask ko din lang, meron bang sort of childcare or child assistance halimbawa manganganak ang misis tapos wala sila iba kaanak para magbantay sa 5yo kid nila? or pwede ba isama ang bata with the father habang nanganganak si misis (parang weird, nagiisip ako ng scenario na pwede) Medyo weird pero di ko alam pano kaya kapag ganyan situation na wala magtitingin sa anak nila while preparing to deliver si mommy. TIA!
Malaine Hi medyo matagal na thread nato pero ill try to rebump baka may magreply. Mostly for PR ang thread kasi request ng original poster. Pero I need help hindi kasi kami PR. We are holding 489 visa and i will give birth next year. Does anyone know the cost of delivery in a public hospital?
nfronda @Malaine if you have an insurance shoulder na ng insurance lahat ng bills mo sa hospital once manganak ka.. ang sis in law ko, 457 ang visa nya ng nanganak sya, cs pa sya at de same time halos 13k ang bills nila pero mi singko wla silang binayaran.. insurance lahat nagbayad.
Kaye28 Hello po. Gusto ko lng po ask (example lang po ) if I am 34 weeks pregnant, then I go to OZ for our IED and to deliver in Au para automatic citizen na ang baby ko but I will still return to SG after delivery (cguro pag 2 months na c baby). Kumbaga instead of giving birth in PH while I'm on Maternity Leave (I'm working in SG), I go to OZ instead with my husband. Then after my ML, I'll go back to PH with my new born (with blue AU passport - not sure how to apply for one yet though). Then si hubby na lng muna maiwan sa OZ to look for a job. Mahirap kc if both of us will be jobless then with a new born pa. Ayoko kc muna mag-resign unless one of us is settled na in AU sana though it will be a huge sacrifice for both of us kc we have to be separated with our baby for a while (like what most parents do here in SG na ndi PR). Eto sana plan namin mag-asawa, though I'm not sure if we'll be violating any rules in AU. I just want to know if there is anyone who had experienced this. I want to know your story and advise na din. Thanks po.
