NEW LIST OF ELIGIBLE SKILLED OCCUPATION 2017-2018 IS HERE!

The 2017 – 2018 Australian Skilled Occupations List (SOL) has been published with approximately 200 occupations being removed from what was the 2016 – 2017 SOL

The updated list is available below, in addition, to the 200 roles being removed the SOL has also had a name change with the list now being referred to as (its a mouthful!) the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL). See here for the list of jobs removed from the previous 2016 – 2017 SOL.

From 19 April 2017, the CSOL list has also received a name change and will now be referred to as STSOL (Short-term skilled occupation list).

nope. 2017-18 SOL (or MLTSSL) will be released this May pa under review pa siya. CSOL (or STSOL) ang nabawasan ng 200 professions.

Question lang po. Yung occupation ko which is under the new MLTSSL is said to be:

A further 16 occupations on the MLTSSL (indicated by ‘** asterisks’) were restricted to only apply to the following visa programmes:

Skilled – Independent (subclass 189)

Temporary Graduate (subclass 485)

Skilled-Regional (Provisional) (subclass 489)

Effective na ba sya ngayong 19 April 2017?

Effective lang sya sa mga maglolodge pa lang.

@juvelinks , yes yan na ang hinihintay natin. we pray na ang qouta hwag bumaba at ang required points hwag tumaas this July 1, 2017.

@Strader hi! sa mga nakapag-lodge lng ba ng visa application b4 april 19 ang hindi affected? kasama ba ung nasa stage pa lng ng EOI b4 april 19 sa hindi affected?

Effective sya sa mga walang invitation to apply. Kung meron kanang ITA di ka affected. So kung eoi ka pa lang kasali ka sa new conditions.

@kuya.king I-try ko pa-assess ulet ng ibang skill 🙂 back to zero, pero sabi sa ibang forum baka maibalik din daw ung mga tinanggal based sa nangyari nung nakaraan, kaya hoping pa rin ako kahit papano 🙂
