Sa mga nagtatanong kung pwede mga architecture graduates from the Philippines to apply under the Architect occupation on a 189 visa:
Almost close to impossible po yan unless the AU assessing body for architects (AACA) has allayed their requirements for overseas qualifications. Simply, our curicculum/ syllabus/ scope of architectural studies is not equivalent to that of Australia's. Your work experience local/overseas, no matter how long, won't make up for that "deficit". Mapapagastos ka ka lang and in the end be given a negative assessment. Thus, most go for other archi-related occupations such as draftsmen (archi, civil, etc.) or ID whichever is available (usually state-sponsored visas 190/489) because you will be assessed by a different body whose qualifications are "gentler" for us PH-Architecture graduates. This has been the case for years. Basahin niyo po mga previous threads about this topic for further reading.
TLDR; Unless you studied from an AACA-recognized university abroad and took a full architecture course, then you won't likely get into Australia under the Architect occupation.
