Anyone familiar magkano Telegraphic Transfer sa BDO to Westpac Account dun din kasi ako nag open ng account online. Hinahanap din ba ang account details mo sa immigration to support your financial capacity or ung PR Grant Letter is enough? Thanks.

The moment ata magkaroon ka ng visa ok na. Malamang proof of identity kailangan to prove na ikaw yung holder ng visa.

Gusto ko rin malaman yung sagot sa una mong tanong.

Hi @Obi, sa case nmin, nag open kami sa BPI ng AUD account. Then once na madepositohan mo na ito ng AUD, pwede na magpa TT. May fees and charges din involve not sure lang kung magkano, pero sabi nung naka usap kong teller, hindi nman daw tataas pa sa Php 3K ang charges.

So ang gagawin namin if ever eh isang TT na lang. Para isang bayaran lang ng Fees 🙂

Nakita ko po ang CommonwealthBank, isa po sa mga requirements nila is Tax File Number (TFN), pasensya na po pero puede ko na din po applyan ang TFN habang nasa labas pa kami ng AU?

TFN is not a requirement if you wish to open an account with CBA; what happen is that in the event that you cannot be able to produce this, your interest will be taxed.

Sharing our experience, we opened several months before our arrival and our savings earned interest already in Australia. As we did not have a TFN yet, our interest payment got taxed until such time that we were able to supply CBA our TFN.

Thanks @Bossing TasBurrfoot, nag open na po kami kahapon sa CBA then start na kami mag ipon unti unti ;-) apply na lang kami TFN during our initial entry possible po ba makuha yun in 5working days? Gaano po ba sya katagal antayin?

Thanks @Bossing Lock_Code2004, so even though it is online puede lang po kami mag apply kapag andun na kami, kahit po initial entry lang kami?

Wala naman po bearing kung mag apply na kami ng TFN pag initial entry naming then kasi balak naming next year pa totally lumipat...so mahabang time na di sya magagamit.

@legato09 yes pwede nmn basta may permanent address ka dito.. Kasi dun nila ipapadala at dapat may magtago sa letter pag wala kana sa AU (in case na 1 wk lng ikaw mag stay for IED)

Hi all, Im a future student this 2014 and may email na po sa akin both ANZ and Commonwealth. Ang sabi sa akin eh pag student exempted sa $5 monthly fee. Ano po bang bank ang advisable niyo? Pwede po ba magkaron ng 2 bank accounts?

nothing is preventing you from opening many bank accounts if you want...

i would say cba over anz, kontin lang nakikita ko na anz atms eh! nab pwede din.
