Mismo! Normally papayagan nmn umalis ng pinas pag more than 6mos.pa ang expiration ng passport.. Lalo n pag pr kasi pwde nmn kumuha ng new passport dun.. Un nga lng isa pang aalalahanin.. Kaya kung mas better magp renew sa pinas..

Yup, i update mo ang CO mo by email kung may bago kana na passport. Pag pumunta kana ng Australia dalhin mo pati luma mo na passport to make sure walang problema. cheers

hello po, last week I just got my new passport and I already have my visa grant since March. To whom should I inform my new passport details? Does CO still reply to our queries or should i directly inform DIAC department? By the way what is the email address of diac? 😃

I replied lang sa visa grant email ng CO ko, attached form and ctc-ed new passport, iniba ko din email subject. But after a week pa ako nakareceive ng response kasi wala na raw sa team nila ung CO ko :p

I have emailed my CO last Monday but 'til now wla pa response. What I did is to submit the requirements (form 929, old passport and new passport) to the Australian High Commission here in Singapore. From the website it says that visa grant details will be updated after two days time. So after two days, I checked the VEVO page for the visa grant details but only my surname was updated but the passport details are still my old passport number 🙁

Please advise if i still need to call DIAC to change my passport number?

Question po, pag nag reply na si CO about sa new passport na nachanged na daw nya, ilang daws bago mag reflect sa web VEVO system? Nag try ako since yesterday ung old passport pa rin yung pwede... Sana may makapag share ng experience nila.

^hindi ko rin po alam ang sagot, pero ginawa ko nun e nagprint ako nung email ng CO na nachange nila yung details ko sa database nila. after a couple of months pa naman yung alis ko nun…

so nung asa airport na ko, nakaready yung print out ko if ever sabihin na iba yung asa vevo ko…fortunately, hindi naman nangyari.. smooth from pinas to au byahe ko, walang tanong tanong 🙂

@amcasperforu, same pala tayo. sinabihan na ako ng CO na updated na yung VISA ko with my new passport pero yung old passport number pa rin ang nagrereflect sa VEVO. nagemail ako sa kanila at tinanong kung puede ba akong bigyan ng bagong VISA Grant Notice with my new passport detail. eto ang sabi nila:

"I have already updated (my name) passport details in our systems but unfortunately passport number (my new passport number) is not being picked up in VEVO. I sought assistance from our Client Service Operations to sort this out.

Unfortunately, a grant notification will be not be reissued to reflect his renewed passport. The grant notification issued earlier is suffice to present to the Immigration upon entry to Australia. Please advise (my name) to bring with him relevant travel documents such as passport (old and new) and grant notification.

In the meantime, I am waiting for a response from our Client Service Operations regarding our query on updating his passport details in VEVO. I’ll keep you updated."

@nalooka, ganyan na ganyan nga ang plano ko, magprint ng email ng CO about my passport change. kasi kinakabahan din ako bakit yung old passport ang nasa VEVO. although hindi ako sure kung VEVO ba ang gamit nilang pag-verify o ibang application baka may web-based iteration ng Regional Movements Alert System (RMAS). Anyway, nung nag-attend ka ng PDOS sa CFO, ano ang nilagyan nila ng label, yung old passport mo o yung new passport? kasi magpi-PDOS ako bukas, dadalhin ko na lang yung old at new passport, pati na rin yung VISA Grant Notice at yung email ng CO na napalitan na yung passport details ko.

ayos salamat po sa inyong dalawa sa pag reply ganun na lng cgro gagawin ko para cgurado... medyo nag sigurado lang ako alam nyo naman baka ma interrupt tayo sa immig esp sa pinas 🙂

@amcasperforu, kakaemail lang ng CO ko. na-update na yung passport details ko sa VEVO. it took them 2 weeks to update it. may sira yata dati ang VEVO nila. check mo rin sayo baka naupdate na.

What if you have informed CO about change in passport details, submitted the necessary forms but have not gotten any reply? how soon should I follow up? or do I assume that it has been arranged? Mag 3 days na since we sent out the notice for change in passport information pero wala pa ring reply. 🙁

@mhej try to follow up one week cgro... minsan kasi nagbabakasyon sila. btw may nakita ako wala silang work sa monday. baka nilubos na rin ng co mo ang bakasyon 😉
