Some info lang pala about school sectioning. I have spoken with an ACS officer through email. And I found out itong sectioning ng school is just one of many factors ng ACS using CEP if ano ang magiging assessment sa school mo. So even if section 3 ang school mo, pero yun course mo and subjects are assessed by them as relevant to your nominated skill and they think are equivalent to those of Australian standards.. ma-assess ka pa din as AQF Bachelor's Degree.

So yun mga section 2 and 3 don't lose hope.

Bryan, pinalitan ko na yung signature ko from "fallback just in case my school turns out to be section 2 on latest CEP" to "Fallback just in case DIAC finds my application to be lacking 5 points, for any reason and rejects my 175" hahahah!

Cancel 175 meaning refund? Pwede ba yun? Sige abangan namin yan application mo pag-nagka-CO na. Hehehe. Alam mo sa tingin ko sa dami ng application ni DIAC, why would they go all through the trouble na pag-aralan pa yun transcripts and subjects mo and tumingin pa sa CEP if ginawa na ni ACS yun? Disclaimer lang yun sa ACS site, pero I am very positive na naka-depende lang sila sa assessment ni ACS sa qualification mo.

My concern is the Qualification. Which points category would I fall? I'm a non IT grad with a bachelors degree but my course is not related to my nominated occupation. Do I still get the full 15 points?

Meron 3 categories yung qualification di ba

20 pts on Doctorate degree

15 pts at least a bachelors degree

10 pts Australian Diploma or trade qualification or other qualification recognized by a relevant assessing authority

which is correct?

a. I have a bachelors degree - 15 points

b. I have a bachelors degree but nominated skill is not related to course. But successfully assessed by ACS - 10 points

Agree! di ko icacancel yung 175 ko bwahaha! ngayon pa na october na ang nipoprocess 😛 abangan ko na lang magka-CO ako... kung for any reason ireject nya ako and 5 pts lang kulang, go ako ng 176, pero di ko icacancel hahaha, antayin ko ireject na lang (sana wag)

That part I'm not sure... kala ko kasi pag successful na ung RPL mo e, equivalent to bachelor's degree ka na dapat, pero kasi yung mga hindi nag RPL, may nilalgay si ACS na equivalent to bachelor's degree sa result letter e... Kelan mo nakuha ung ACS certificate mo? Here's what you can do:

Email a query to ACS, pwede yung mismong officer na nagemail ng result mo, accomodating sila for enquiries
Post mo to sa ACS thread natin, baka may mga nag-same route na makasagot
Check other forums =)

Ang alam ko lahat ng skills assessment after Jul2011, dapat meron ng nakalagay na equivalent to bachelor's degree" statement.. requirement yan ng DIAC as one of the bases to get educational qualification..

Since hindi nga siguro IT-related ang course mo, hindi makapagbigay ng opinion ang ACS.. but have you tried asking them? As suggested by @itchan..

Sa Engineers Australia kasi, separate ang bayad ng skills assesment at ng educational qualification.. kaya sa letter namin, nakalagay both positive skills assessment at equivalent bachelor degree..

so to be safe..

a) ask ACS first.. baka pwde ka kumuh ng opinion

@skyline - full assessment po yata ang 19weeks na sinasabi nyo.. si @batobats only requires Points Test Advice for his educational qualifications..

@Lock_code:Yun nga nalilito din ako kung kukuha pa ng points test advice.Sabi dun Vet optional pero yung binayad ko kasi sa Vet is Full Skills Assessment (GSM with Points Test Advice) na fee 670aud.Tapos sa assessment result ko,naka indictae dun kung ilang years lang credited sa work exp. ko plus yung companies na inasess nila.i don't know if this will suffice🙁

Hay ang gastos ng vet hehe.Tapos another waiting time for me kung request ako ng PTA

@skyline - i guess ang hinahanap ng DIAC is you statement about the qualification (diploma/bachelor/etc). if that is written as part of the assessment, then that would be enough...

so meron bang ganun sa assessment nyo?

sa mga nag Vetassess, sa qualification nyo po ba pinadala nyo pa yung primary and secondary school diploma? Meron kasi ako na-fill-up na form tapos may details ng Primary and secondary pinadala nyo rin po ba yung as part of evidence?

may friend ako na visa 176 na recently na-approve same scenario as me, hinde siya hinanapan ng points advice from vetassess. ano po sa tingin nyo?

kaso ang difference namin is with state sponsorship sya na 5pts na wala ako
