Finally got my positive skills assessment from CPAA. However, I realised mali pala ung letterhead na nagamit nung HR namin on my COE dun sa company ko sa Pinas. We are a group of companies kasi, and almost identical yung names ng mga companies. The company that I was employed (as per my payslips and ITR) has the word "Trading" which is missing dun sa na-issue na COE sa kin. Positive din naman result ni CPAA, yun nga lang yung company name is mali. On my EOI, aling company name ang ilalagay ko? Magkakaproblema ba ako in the future? Thank you in advance.

Just use the name of your previous firm...

They will hopefully get it; and if there will be a problem, they will always ask about this.

No point trying to guess what will be stand on the CO on this issue.

Hi! Meron ba dito na nag accomplish muna ng CPA program here in the Phil bago mag migration assessment? Curious lng kasi if ano yung mas advantageous? Baka employers would sponsor if recognised Australian CPA kana.

Kelangan b n lht ng docs n isasubmit s cpa Australia ay macertify lht? For example, ung school credentials authenticated n ng dfa. How about ung employment certificate? Need din n ipacertify un?

Hello accountants! Anybody here po who got an ITA last night? I haven't read/seen anyone even sa kabilang forum na accountant/auditor na nakakuha ng ITA.. Nasa SOL pa naman ang accountant general di ba haha. :-S

@jella wala din akong mabasa khit saan na invited na accountants... sa ibang forum.. using immitracker daw kht 75 pts walang ITA... bka they decided to invite once a month for accountants?...

Hi Accountants, just an update po, may nainvite naman pala na Accountant (General) from last night's invitation round. He's an onshore 75pointer who submitted EOI around last week of June. Perhaps ung mga matataas ang points ay ung mga may extra points pa for studying in Aussie. This year's standard for our occupation is really high lalo na't madami nakakakuha ng golden 20points from PTE-A. Mukhang ung invites last night for accountants ay for 80 and 75pointers. I still need a few months para maabot ung 75points (5yrs work experience or 10points) but I'm praying na makasingit na next invitation. 😃 To the 60 and 65 pointers here in the forum, I strongly suggest to aim for all 79 in PTE. Based sa observation ko, ang daming 20points for PTE na mga Indiano sa kabilang forum. 🙂 God bless everyone!

In my case I took the CPA board after 2 years of working. My school is under section 2 so my degree was assessed as Australian Associate Degree instead of Bachelor Degree. They only recognized my education as equivalent to Bachelor's degree after my evidence of CPA board exam. Because of this, my 2 years experience before passing the board was not counted.</blockquote>

@jencandysweet was this the reason provided by CPA AU? kasi may mga na assess before hindi naman CPA pero bachelors degree. kinabahan naman ako dito kasi I passed the board exam 9 years after graduation. baka di rin counted work experience ko before passing the board. 🙁
