@edmariel yung sa JD, pang external audit experience pero patterned in accordance with Accountant na job code po yung JD na binigay ko. Yun din po ba kailangan mo?

Hi, ung dalawang previous companies ko hindi sila ngproprovide ng detailed Job Description sa COE. Standard template lang ung binibigay nila for resigned employees. Ok lng ba na mgprovide na lang ng list/summary ng responsibilities ko? Accountant ako for both companies.

@jhun2384 pwede ka po gawa na lang ng jd including other details na wala sa coe mo then ipa sign mo sa direct superior mo.

Hello there sa mga nag pa assess na CPAA tama ba separate yung fee ng qualification and employment assessment?

Employment-118 Aud

Wala ba silang combined assessment?Dapat ba na mauna muna yung qualification b4 employment?thanks

@batman tumawag ako sa college of accountancy,sabi nila black and white lang talaga.Yung sau ba colored talaga hehe?

@pikachu13 oo kasi ang letter head colored naman diba. pero yung description black and white talga. tsaka yung nag pirma ng registrar blue pen kasi. kaya nun iniscan ng colore kita.

Baka.kasi pag overseas colored pero pag dito lang kinuha black and white talaga.Meron nakong nakuha dati na syllabus yung letterhead hindi colored.

I just did mine noong August 1.

Hi. I am unable to obtain any course syllabus from my university, course description lang ang binibigay nila. Okay lang po ba 'yon? I am planning to submit sa Chartered Accountants ANZ po. Thank you.

Guys, have some queries and appreciate your responses. Im graduate of BSAccountancy circa 2000, a CPA Philippines, also associate member na din ng CPAA. Was able to availed the benefits of MRA between Picpa and Cpaa and now taking the pathway 1 program for Cpa exam and my first subject is Ethics and Governance.

Anyone here who has taken this exam before who can share some tips and database of exam questionnaires if you can plse?
I heard from a friend that if you pass the Cpaa exam, you no longer need to take english test, anyone? If this is totally true?
When applying for eoi, what is the difference between Finance Manager, management accountant, general accountant. I know the difference per se but what i intend to ask is e.g if you selected the code for general accountant does it mean you are not allowed to becime FM? Sorry for my ignorance.
What is the highest points to be considered?
I read somewhere that they are removing these professions very soon, does it mean that we might be losing the opportunity to migrate specially for accountants who are still preparing the big move.

@dr.ew888 hello, welcome to the forum.

2- requirement for assessment is to have competent English. never read anywhere such exemption.

3 - you can only nominate 1 occupation. if you change nominated occupation it requires you have a new assessment. the previous assessment will be considered void once you nominate new one.

4 depends on your circumstances. like age u can get as high as 30 pts as long as you are not yet 33 y/o. skilled employment highest is 15 pts. ielts is max pts is 20. bachelor degree is 15.

5- its currently under red flagged occupation. they will closed it as soon as the supply of professionals under thoses occupation are more than enough.

Pag nag paassess ba sa cpaa or ipa,yung results ng pte na padf file,kelangan ding isend or yung pte na mismo ang mag send.Pag sa eoi din ba kelangan upload din yung pdf file?thanks

@adamalaluan Hi, sa CAANZ ako nagpa-assess and submitted only a course description. Nasa TOR na din naman kasi yung complete list of subjects taken. Just make sure that the course codes and names on both documents are parallel so CAANZ won't have any questions.

@adamalaluan 10 days for the skills assessment in my case. That count includes weekends. My employment assessment was another story, as I had to file an appeal.

i'm helping a friend file for CPAA assessment. i went through another process (ACS) so I'm not familiar on what needs to be done for migration. any links that can help us with the step by step process and if possible, sample documents?

hi @pink sana, if may mabigay kang sample patingin pls. may mapping ka rin ba ng mg subjects na sample. sana magbigay ang alma mater (ateneo) ko ng syllabus. If meron dito na same school pashare pls. salamat ng marami. Tanong lang din sa registrar ba magrequest non or sa department mismo ng mga syallbus? Im trying my best na makapagpasses by december. salamat ng marami 🙂

@chichan she can read from CPAA website directly. Their procedure is very straightforward. Documents needed are also mentioned there. just drop some question here if in case some are not clear.
