Correct me if my understanding is wrong. I believe meron 2 types of assessment kay CPAA.

Skilled assessment - if you want to get your qualifications assessed. E.g. whether suitable for migration or not.

Skilled employment - if you want to claim points for your employment.
In my case, for the purpose of claiming partner points, we had to do #1 only. Base nadin ito sa advise ng mga experts dito previously.
My question is, during visa lodging stage, kailangan kaya namin yung detailed employment references for my partner? Kasi technically ay wala naman kaming cnlaim na points for her employment.
Appreciate your advises.

As long as you have a qualification equivalent to an AQF degree and have done the mandatory units, it should be ok. Likely the outcome for you is they will ask you to study some mandatory units, take the exam and then should get a positive assessment. Good luck.

Suggest lang try to start getting your CPAA Accredication by studying online kahit nasa pinas palang.. kasi 6 subjects (2sem per year) so mga 1 to 2 subject lang din pede per sem. 2 years din gugugulin nio ng pag aaral para maging certified practicing accountants kayo dito sa Au. (if wala sabit sa subjects)

Hello po. CPA po ako dito sa pinas and ever since naka pasa ako sa bord, internal auditing yung pina practice ko. Okay lng ba na sa CPAA magpa assess (instead sa Vetassess for internal auditing) tapos pagdating dyan if ever, ipagpatuloy ko yung pagiging IA ko? TIA.

@Mau766 I think okay lang mag pa assess sa CPAA for the qualification (bachelor's degree) kasi ang ina-assess naman nila is yung courses, syllabus, board exam, etc. Pero if you are intending to also have your experience assess, alam ko they would really look into experience which might not be fully in line sa EA if you practice heavily on IA. Saka sa code, magkaiba talaga yung IA and EA. In my view, its better to start it with IA para both qualification (degree) and experience (skills) in one shot. Btw, this is only my own POV, hope this helps. 🙂
