Anyway, parehas pala tau situation, we're both cpa dn. CPAA needs academic 7.0 for a positive migration assessment.

Ma'am, if it's really needed to meet the minimum point requirement of 60 then go for it but if it's just to increase your points from 60 then I think it's not worth the trouble. As the others have mentioned, you will still need 7 on your IELTS for a positive assessment.

@Bigfoot Sir, kung ok lang po sa inyo I would like to inquire about the nominated occupation. I have seen in your timeline that you first nominated accountant and changed to external auditor. I have been an external auditor for 5 years, is it ok kaya to nominate the accountant since in my transcript of records, I have a subject titled fundamental accounting theory and practice? o mas safe po pag diretso na external auditor ang inominate ko? hi @mitchy_cpa, may agent ba kau? you don't need course description. what you need are course syllabi. i think its best for you to take IELTS now and have the assessment and membership together whilst you're in the Phils. the reqts for assessment and membership are the same, except may dagdag lng na bayad for membership. anong batch ba kau ng BSA? if you graduated before 2003, i think there's an issue with accounting theory. but just make an appeal in case, so you'll get a positive assessment.

Hi Ma'am Gretch, there's no difference really, but I suggest that you nominate external auditor since your experience is closer to that NOC code anyway. Don't be scared of the quota since there are just a few applicants for the NOC External Auditor, and the quota has never been reached every year.

Hi! Overseas kaming dalawa. For membership assessment do they also need IELTS? Sorry di ko pa na-check medyo nakafocus ako sa migration assessment. Btw, ni request ko na yung course description/syllabus sa UST, I have specifically told them that it will be used for skill assessment. I have even attached the transcript for their reference. (Sana naman okay)

We both graduated in 2003 and I am really hoping walang issue sa accounting theory (thank you Lord!)

Ma'am, as far as I know required talaga IELTS for all non-native English speaking applicants. Since you're applying for migration assessment with them, choose the option to also be assessed for membership para minsanan na - this may take additional weeks, two I think, of waiting time though.

Ma'am, you can just put the same date as your application form or "present", kasi ang assessment nila for your work experience is up to the date of your application.

I tried checking it earlier, but it seems I need to pay first before they could e-mail me my requirements. As for the IELTS, is there a band requirement for membership assessment?

Ma'am, when you fill-up the application for migration assessment there's a question whether you also want them to assess your credentials for membership. The same documents will be used for migration and membership assessment, including the IELTS Academic rating (at least 7 in all bands).

Nagpaassess kc friend ko at ang result e comparable lng daw natapos nya sa isang associate degree thus, di cya pede mag-apply for skilled migration under Accountant (General). bakit ganun, la khit isa nacredit sa subjects nya. Pa help nmn po. thanks!

@nathalie06, nde ko maintindihan kung baket associate degree lang ang ibinigay sa kanya. sa tingin ko namn e binigay nya lahat ng required syllabus. i suggest mag-appeal sya sa assessing agency nya. teka, ano bang assessing body nya?

@pangrom0529 cpaa. Yes, ngsubmit cya ng complete requirements kya nga nagulat din ako bakit khit isa wla na credit. as in result ng assessment is 0/12 nung core subjects. At sabi dun associate degree lng daw equivalent ng degree nya. Definitely mag aappeal cya. Just want to know here kung me same case ba coming from the same school. Tks

hi @caylin, nung nagpamember kme last august, ang sabi lang naman samen e send copies of 100 points of identification and ung application form. we then paid thru credit card for the membership at assessment fees. tapos option mo kung gusto mo i-attach ung positive migration assessment letter. ung reference ID mo (987xxxx for me) is the same number na i-quote mo for all correspondence. they will check it. sa case namen ng wife ko, we did not attach any academic qualification and professional membership docs kasi recent assessment lang kme (wife's assessment-January).
