after ko basahin yung mga latest postings d2, nagdadalawang isip tuloy ako ngayon kasi may nag-offer sa akin. i am planning to continue looking sana at ireject yung offer. software engineer din naman pero hindi masyadong gamit yung Java na pinakamain skillset ko. sobrang mababa talaga yung offer at mas mataas pa nga yung sweldo ko sa singapore tapos halos 2 hour na byahe pa ngaun sa tinitirhan ko, tapos hindi fix yung working hours nila. not really sure kung ano irereply ko dun sa job offer, tatanggapin ko ba o hindi. 1 week na din ako d2 sa melbourne kahapon.. ano sa tingin nyo guys?

@killerbee hmmm. Depende tlga sayo ang desisyon. Go with your instinct. Ask for signs kay Lord. But if i were you, i will accept it. Kasi nagsisimula k p lng naman. Especially, wala kang local experience jan. Sometimes it matters to some company. I remember i started here sa SG na mababa ang salary compared sa mga kalevel ko ng experience. I was underpaid. But then i showed them my worth so after my probation period i asked for a salary increase. Either you'll do the same or pag lumipat ka n ng job, hingi ka n lng ng mas mataas na salary. You will get want you want eventually. But still, the decision is yours, just my two cents worth.

@killerbee , makiki-comment po... why not try accepting the job to gain experience lang?...malay nyo po magustuhan nyo and eventually gawin kayong regular and offer higher pay...then eventually, you might want to transfer places for easier access.... just a thought po...

Suggest huwag mamili Sir; just gain experience muna total gusto niyo naman talaga ang Australia diba? Eventually you will earn what you are really worth.

Get it unless budget is not an issue and you are confident that you can get a better offer soon. You may consider to relocate as 2 hours is too long =).

My client interview went well this morning.

At the beginning of the interview they mentioned that the position is for graduate opportunity and is not fit for me since I am experienced but still we proceed with the interview.

I believe I impressed the interviewer and said I am fit for the position but their concern is that I will be starting on a junior level which gave them hesitations.

I'm wondering if I am overqualified for the position why did they shortlist me?

Anyway, I wouldn't be expecting much from this, I will charge it to experience.

You did well @Gori - and you are right, charge it to experience whatever will happen...

Anyway, just maintain that relationship with your HH; maybe s/he can arrange another interview. You have the advantage now as napansin ka na sa HH mo. 🙂
