I just asked them a general question kung ano ang mga assistance that they provide for a new migrant like me, then I asked particularly if they assist on finding a job (I attended PDOS too and yes na-mention din sa seminar na centrelink can assist). unfortunately, they told me they don't and I think ang tinutulungan nila are mostly the aborigins &/or Torres Islanders. sila kasi yung karamihan na nakita ko sa Centrelink office. plus yun nga kapag may anak ka, then you can benefit from centrelink. Visit the centrelink na lng din when you arrive here, no harm checking 🙂
