<i class="Italic">Age eligibility for the 189 and 190 skilled visas is locked in at the time of invitation - whatever your age is/was on the date your invitation was issued will be the age you receive points for.

So if you have lodged your EOI and while you are awaiting an invitation your age changes, the system will update and reduce or increase your points accordingly. It's also important if you spend time awaiting an invitation to update your work experience so if you go over one of the thresholds that awards more points for more work experience, you can get credit for those points.

So the key for you will be to get an invitation before your birthday in August reduces your age points.

Hi Guys, is it better to apply for a state sponsorship first before including the visa 190 sa EOI?

Based kasi kami sa SG pero ung anak namin, nasa Pinas. We plan sana na sabay-sabay nalang magmedical sa Pinas pag-uwi namin which is on the 18th na. One day process lang ba siya? O kailangan pa naming bumalik? 5 days lang kasi kami sa Pinas, baka kapusin sa oras. On the other hand, naisip namin, easier din if isang clinic lang galing ung medical naming 3.

@jazmyne18 Saan nyo po balak magpa-medical? If sa Nationwide, pwede nyo matapos lahat kahit halfday as long as walang makitang problem during urine tests or physical exam. Kapag may problem naman sa blood or xray, tatawag sila.

@Heprex planning to submit sa VIC Sir, kaso my concern is, baka lumabas ang invite for 190 then mareject naman po ako sa SS ng Vic, or masyado po matagal lumabas ang SS grant.

@acbien ang process for VIC SS, is to submit muna ng EOI for 190 sa skill select, and choose Victoria as your state. Discretion ng Victoria kung sino ang iinvite nila.
