Skilled - Nominated or Sponsored (Provisional) (subclass 489) visa

Hi everyone. I just saw this forum last night and very glad to receive acceptance this morning.

Magiinquire lang po kasi I am planning to apply for 190 state sponsored sa WA. HR Manager po ang occupation ko under WASOL schedule 2.

Ang pagkakaintindi ko sa process:

Lodge EOI
If they see me as qualified, papadalhan nila ako ng invitation to apply for state nomination
Then they will evaluate and if I satisfy all requirements, papadalhan ako ng invitation to lodge visa apllication.

Yub nga lang I read from their website na kailangan ng at least 12months contract of employment with an employer based sa nominated occupation.

Pano po ito? Possible po ba na maghanap at mabigyan ng job offer kahit wala pang visa? May nakagawa na po ba nito? Please advise kung tama po ang pagkakaintindi ko.

Guys puwede ba mag apply ng anothe visa while naka lodged nang visa like for 489? Baka kasi ipadala ako ng company ko sa Australia on a business visa. Btw, wala pang case officer na naka allocate sa akin

Hi! Newbie here for subclass 489 visa for southern inland. Had just sent my docs thru the online eoi for rda southern inland and already got a confirmation email for receipt of my docs. How long po ba till i get an advise thru email for me to lodge certified docs and payment? Thanks po

Pasado po EOI ko for Skilled Regional 489 - Family Sponsored. I am just hesitant cause my 3rd degree aunt is my sponsor. 1) Ano po proof and saan ko po pwede makuha yung document na we're a 3rd degree relative? 2) hindi po ba matagal yung process ng 489 kaysa 189 na visa?

@chriz are you also qualified for 189? Bakit mo kinocompare and bakit 489 aapplyan mo kung qualified ka naman sa 189...a 489 family sponsored visa has limited invitations( 20 lang yata ang max per month). Birth certs is one that can prove your relationship, pwede ka rin gumawa ng family tree..read thouroughly the requirements at www.border.gov.au, wag lang umasa dito sa forum

how are you and how is your IMMI process going?

I saw in your signature that you applied for SS SA under 489 on 7th of july and you got invitation on 20th of july. that is so quick.

Actually i have also applied for SS SA under 489 on 8th of Aug-2015 but still did not get any invitation email. is this normal that a delay of more than 2 weeks. i am much tensed.

plz share your exp and comments.

@Shamim nag submit na ako ng visa application kaso wala pa rin akong case officer.

regarding your state nomination, i think they base it on the pts. Kung mataas ang pts mo, mas malaki ang chance na mapadahalan ka ng invitation quickly.

Ilan ba a total pts mo?

hi everyone! tanong lang po. May way ba paano mag followup kung ano progress ng EOI? nagsubmit kasi ako last month skilled Regional 489 - Family Sponsored visa until now wala pang reply. Everytime I check sa skill select ang nalakagay na progress is submitted.TIA.

tanung lang po ako kung panu niyo nalalaman kung may open sa state/region?

kulang na kasi ang age nya kaya 489 lang pwede niyang tahakin.

Hi, pwede na kaya magsubmit ng EOI kahit walang opening sa region para at least nakapila na yun application and come opening on top of the list yun application ko (just thinking kun pwede to) or baka there's a higher chance na ma-refuse yun application since there's no opening on your nominated occupation.

@yosh10 You can visit the website of each state para malaman mo if open sila sa occupation ng cousin mo. 489 din kasi ako. Inisa isa ko ang mga state. Tapos nakita ko sa nsw yung occupation ko. Then inisa isa ko din ang website ng bawat region ng nsw at may kaisa isang region na nagssponsor sa occupation ko. 🙂

if not too much to ask, pwede po ba sample ng website ng region? medyo nahirapan ako icheck kung may opening sila for IT. Thanks again!

thanks @fgs, if ever ma-refuse, pwede naman mag-reapply ulit? or baka may waiting period before EOI resubmission.
