Using PH passport if already an AU Citizen

Hi Everyone,

Question lang po. I got my citizenship recently and I'm going to the Philippines for more than a month this coming March. Can I still use my PH passport to enter PH? I'm hoping that I could still use it para allowed ako to stay there for more than 30 days. Is that allowed?

Regards!

hi buddy people have been doing this all the time and this is from smart traveller:

    Leaving and returning to Australia
Australians should use their Australian passport when exiting or entering Australia. This includes dual nationals.

If you're a dual national and have a passport from another country, you may choose to travel on your other passport once outside Australia.

See the Department of Home Affairs website for more on citizenship and travel.

AFAIK, its illegal. Once you obtain Australian citizenship, you will lose your Filipino citizenship and the validity of your passport. You have to re-apply for a Filipino citizenship, then passport.

i agree, @RyanJay never mentioned he's dual citizen. so technically, his ph passport is not valid.
