hello to all. sino na po nakapagtry ng state sponsorship sa Canberra? tanong ko lang po about the letter that you need to send to ACT for state sponsorship kung anong format and tips po kasi dun nakasalalay ang lahat. thanks in advance po sa mga magreply.

Hi indaydiego, I am curious about what that letter is. God willing, I am planning to lodge my application via 176 through Canberra. If I am not mistaken, ang first step is to do Assessment. How is it going with you. Good luck to us!

Hi, im also planning to take this route. Tama ba, pag nag submit ka ng letter sa state no need na to submit an eoi sa DIAC? God bless us all!

@Santi - if you are applying as <b>Skilled Migrant,</b> you have to go thru EOI/Skillselect..

statement of commitment to ACT is only for State sponsorship.. once SS is approved

DIAC will process your visa through your EOI..

IELTS test type will depend on your assessing authority..

example: for Engineers it's General, while for Accountant it's Academic..

then there are assessing agencies which do not require IELTS during the assessment process (like ACS for IT and VETASSESS for general occupations), in this case it will be General Test as well..

Wow that was fast!

My nominated occupation is Sales Representative (Pharmaceutical and Medical Products), i work as a medrep for 10years now. As per DIAC, VETASSESS is the assessing agency for that occupation. So i can take the assessment first then ielts would ne the next? How much is the assessment fee? Parang aud630 nakita ko sa vetassess website. Are we off topic na po ba? Please feel free to merge this to other thread if appropriate, Salamat!

@Santi hello, ACT balak mo diba? Most occupations are there and in demand as far as I know. Online application for vetassess is $630 tama hehe..It varies also depending on the visa http://www.vetassess.com.au/migrate_to_australia/qa2_fees_payment.cfm

@lock_code2004 hi sir, medyo nabuhayan ako ng makita ko yung occupation ko sa in demand list ng ACT, "Open" 313199 ICT Support Technicians nec - thru state sponsorship. Tama po ba na mag pa assess na ako ng qualifications ko sa TRA then if makakuha ng positive result, IELTS na din or kelangan ko muna mag apply ng State nomination sa ACT before anything else. thanks

@aarenslive021608: in my case, I did IELTS > skills assessment > state nomination, but I think you can do the skills assessment without the IELTS. So i guess pag TRA hindi nmn requirement ng IELTS

assessment muna, then pwede mo isabay ang IELTS..
submit EOI
Submit SS application, providing your EOI reference number.
once approved ang SS, the State will invite your thru your EOI/Skillselect
