    Hi @dnoblec, we are in the same boat pala, as far as I understand and after ko makipag-usap sa mga agent pwedeng mag-apply tayo without employer under skilled- independent but we have to be nominated ng state or government under skill select through EOI...:)

    Independent (visa 189)- you apply based on your own points (without sponsorship of state or relative)
    Nominated - you apply with additional points coming from either state (5pts) (visa 190), or relative in a designated area (10pts) (visa 489)

    Your option will base on whether you have enough points to pass the point test (>=60pts)...
    kung kailangan ng additional points, people would apply for state/relative sponsorship dahil sa additional points...

    Assessment muna pala kailangan ko. Pano mag pa-assess? Anong mga requirements and docs needed? Kailangan na ba agad ng IELTS result? Nag rereview palang kasi ako. Next month pa test ko. May assessment fee ba? Help naman! Darlyn.

    Hi @dnoblec, malaking tulong yon reply ni bajayjay about the supervised teaching requirements, actually as of now yun ang nirerequest namin sa school para makumpleto na at pag ok ang IELTS pwede na magpa-assess sa AITSL ( A$550) and let us pray for positive result para magkita-kita tayo sa OZ. cheers!

    Hi @dnoblec, last Aug.9 nag IELTS test ang hubby ko then by aug.22 ang result sana positive ang score pag ok na yon proceed kami sa AITSL assessment then ako naman kukuha ng IELTS, tagal ko na rin din nagturo. Kelan exam mo..Good luck sa atin!

    Hello mga kababayan, may tanong po ulit ako.. kailangan pa ba ng PRC teaching license sa pag papa assess sa AITSL? almost ready na kami sa mga documents IELTS nalang intay namin...salamat!

    Hello mga kabaro at kaguro ko...ako din preparing my docs here for AITSL. Ung kapatid ko sa pinas ang pinapalakad ko ng mga papel. At the meantime nagre-review po ako ng IELTS. ang bilis na pala ng process ngaun, 3-4 mos bingo na agad basta kumpleto lng ung mga papel at hit na hit mo talaga ung mga requirements. Sa mga naguguluhan kung may show money or proof of funds sa immigrant visa, sabi ng cuzn ko sa NSW, HINDI NA DAW KAILANGAN kaya wag mawalan ng pag-asa.

    May mga tanong lng po ako:
    1. Dapat ba dalawa esubmit- police clearance at NBI? or mamili nlng?
    2. And2 po kasi ako sa labas ng phils, paano po ako makakuha ng NBI Clearance sa Pinas? Puwde ba na kapatid nlng ang kukuha?
    3. Sa AITSL attachment section po, may SKILLED EMPLOYMENT STATEMENT (optional), so hindi ba maapektuhan ang visa approval nito pag hindi tau magsa-submit kasi optional dw eh?
    4. Sa mga nka experience na before, paano niyo ipinadala ang bayad niyo for visa, AUD 3,060?

    Reply to @jhiela23: Hello mam..welcome po sa forum...sino po ba ang principal applicant sa application niyo? wala naman po sa required docs attachments ang licence, ano lng INITIAL QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENT in which sa aking pagkakaalam, diploma un ng kurso mo. ayon sa post na nabasa ko, esali din daw ung syllabus/prospectus ng course mo, supervised teaching practice certificate declaring na nag undergo ka ng more than 45 days ng practicum/supervised teaching practise. para tapos sure talaga, esali na lng din ung PRC certificates at mga papel na related sa skill para kung may doubts ang CO, may reference xa.

    Hi @ R_Yell..kumusta? Husband ko ang primary applicant, math teacher sya sa labas ng pinas din, though guro din ako sa atin kaso matagal ng nasa bahay nalang.. Dito ko rin natutunan kung pano gagawin yung supervised teaching at napadala nasa amin. Intay nalang din namin yung result ng IElts and sana ok sya. Worry ko lang kasi kung need yung PRC license, syempre expired na sya at nawawala pa, pero meron naman syang teaching license dito siguro pwede na yon, pag need nila request nalang kami sa PRC. Need na ba ang NBI clearance or police clearance sa AITSL? We will try na kami nalang ang magpa-assess para makatipid..sana di na muna need yon para mai submitt na namin...thanks sa reply.

    Hi @R_Yell , para sa NBI clearance , check mo ang website ng Philippine embassy dyan sa location mo, tulad dito we need to go to the embassy para sa fingerprinting, then follow the instruction kami na ang magfoforward sa NBI sa atin pwedeng family basta may authorization mo. P200 ang bayad daw.

    Answer to your questions:
    1) Police Clearance (generic terms) for all countries where your lived =>12 months.. Example, NBI clearance ang tawag sa PInas, tapos if you are abroad right now, then you need to get police clearance as well. but this only required after you have been invited to apply for a visa..meaning na select kayo sa skillselect..

    You will need to check DIAC's website on how to get police clearance for a specific country..

    2) yes, pwede po magpakuha sa relatives sa pinas... check the thread in this forum about "NBI Clearance".. and also check Phil Embassy/Consulate in your current location.

    3) Sorry I cant help on this..

    4) Normally credit card po ang mode of payment..

    Reply to @jhiela23: how did u come up with the supervised teaching practise certificate? san kau sa pinas mam? san ung husband mo sa abroad? sa akin expired na din ung license ko pero puwede naman ung board rating at ung certificate. Hindi pa po kailangan ung nbi clearance or police clearance during the assessment. ibibigay po yan after mag instruct ang CO niyo po usually after ma-e lodge ung visa application, then medicals ang susunod then finally ang decision, visa granted...yahooooo!!!!

    Reply to @R_Yell, sinunod namin yung instruction ni @bajayjay about supervised teaching andito sa thread, gumawa lang din mister ko and pinakisuyo namin sa kapamilya. Worry ko lang baka di tama yung notaryo so ulitin ko na lang dito. Wala na rin kaming PRC board rating and certificate kasi matagal na yon. Anyways, pag kailangan they will ask for it...may migrant agent ka ba?

Gumawa lang din mister ko at follow-up yung family namin don sa school. na receive na namin pero parang di tama yung notaryo so baka ulitin ko dito. PRC nya di na makita yung board rating at certificate medyo matagal narin hehehe, gamitin nalang namin yung US teaching license nya, pag need ang PRC then request nalang..at taga-muntinlupa ako..

    Hi @bajayjay, pls. need your advise, nag submit ka ba ng Elementary at High school diploma sa AITSL, kasi dun sa form they ask about your secondary school, then narealize ko na baka need yung Elem and HS diploma as part ng " award certificate"..sayang naman kapapadala palang nun supervised teaching cert sa amin galing pinas sana nasabay na, btw thank you sa instruction about supervised teaching...

    Hello pinoy teachers, anyone has tried AEI NOOSR assessment body here? I tried to read what it is about since in the SOL, it is written as one of the options to assess teaching qualification. But its confusing me coz its contradicting to what it is saying there that THEY DO NOT ASSESS FOR MIGRATION (same for studying and the like purposes). One good thing about this is the assessment fee is only AUD450, much inexpensive than the AITSL. Sayang and confusing!!!

    Please check the ANZSCO code for more details..

    UNIT GROUP 2415 SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS - this is the unit group classification, meaning all other kinds of special education teachers will fall under this.. (see the first 4 digits of the classification job code. they are all the same 2415)

    241511 Special Needs Teacher
    241512 Teacher of the Hearing Impaired
    241513 Teacher of the Sight Impaired
    241599 Special Education Teachers nec - NEC means, not elsewhere classified.. so if you are a sped teacher but not classified in the first 3 types, then you will fall under this job code..

    Sana nag Skilled Independent nalang ako, naka-student visa ako now and naguguluhan din ang mga government agencies sa situation ko. LOL

    Technically kasi resident ako ngayon dito since I'm on student visa so hindi ako maassess based on migration purposes. Kaya pinalipat lipat nila ako sa iba't ibang organisation. Scratch AITSL, hindi nila ako maassess dahil andito na nga ako. I guess my only hope is to be sponsored nalang talaga.
