@kymme will you try to send them an email anytime soon? If you don't mind me asking, ano pala breakdown nang points sa friend mo?

@kymme don't get me wrong, I am not saying its not true or she made it all up. what i'm saying was she's very lucky coz Vic considered her situation and not all state will do that. If that thing worked for her then maybe someone else is in the same position as her can do the same or try that path to get an invite quicker.

Btw, its not just students who spends a lot of money, every aspiring migrant spends a ton of cash, time and effort to be in Australia and get their visas - which I am fully aware of.

No one forced us to study or move here in Australia, it's our choice right? I believe that all the monies we spent in this whole migration process will form part of our investment in exchange for a better life in australia.

I spend time sharing my knowledge and experience about australian immigration to our fellow kababayans on this forum, coz I want to help others achieve their dreams in living down under and every ITA or visa grant I see here makes me happy.

All the best to you and your friend. Hope you'll get the golden email very soon.

    Cheers!

@Au_Vic that's okay po. probably next time, instead of LOLing her, lets be happy nalang. im on the same situation as her. pa expire nko next week and wala p din invite ko. but praying p din. that 'tactic' didnt work for me kasi 55+5 lng ako and xa 60+5. although ng present ako ng permanent job saknila but kulang points ko.

i know you have helped heaps of aspiring migrants dito sa forum coz ive seen your comments. mej nainis lng ako dun sa tactic and lol comment mo but all good now.

@kymme no worries! i am not sure exactly about your situation, are you on student visa? temporary graduate visa or 457? 457 coz you mentioned that you've presented permanent job offer to Vic state govt?

if your visa is expiring soon, pick up the phone and call the Victorian state sponsorship office and tell them your situation, it may work, sometimes phone conversation helps.

I have called them few times before on behalf of my client and so far the people I have spoken to were nice and helpful.

@bettyboop you can try but some agencies are strict and they will not tell you any information even though it's your own application 'coz your agent lodged it on your behalf

Nagbigay naman yung company ko ng documents to support my application and today, I think tinawagan na yung HR namin to confirm the offer of employment.

..correct me.if im wrong.
This month..sabi naman nila baka by nov or dec.. may resulta na if ma invite...
    Ganun po ba katagal?

At the same time.. naghanap din sila ng employer sponsorship..

@bettyboop hi, EOI is lodged sa immigration website then application for state sponsorship in Victoria is lodged sa victorian state migration website.

if you have an application number from victorian state migration you can include that in you enquiry or perhaps try using your husband's passport number and/or birth date for identfication purposes.

looking at the other posts here, it may take 12 weeks to process Vic state sponsorship maybe count 12 weeks from aug. Yes, they may ask further documents.

who is looking for employer sponsorship? yung victorian state migration or yung agent mo?

@Au_Vic thanks sa advise... I guess we just have to wait sa outcome ng EOI. Wala din kasi kami application number. At im thinking..if ever mag enquire ako at mag reply sila. E CC sa email ang agent namin.. hehe.
Yung agent(MARA) po namin sa AU sila naka based at they do job placement also mostly for chefs.

Your student visa is expiring this weds right? Does it mean that you have to lodge your sc190 visa before your current visa expires? What’s your next move? All the best to you.

@kymme it depends on the type of bridging visa. usually, immigration will tell you whether you can work or not. No medicare benefit whilst on bridging visa.

    Hi!
Anyone of you has been requested Japan police clearance?
Binuksan nyo po ba ang envelope? Sabi kasi ng consulate it it will be invalid if I opened it instead of Australian Immigration.
I emailed the CO for permission though, and still waiting for the reply.

@Au_Vic kkbasa ko lng nung bridging visa, full work rights. regarding dun sa medicare, di po ako sinabihan ng RPS na kumuha ng private health insurance. matatapos na sa december. so need ko i extend yun gang ma grant ang PR?

@kymme yes coz you need to be a PR or oz citizen to get medicare benefits. in terms of full work rights whilst on a bridging visa, you need to wait for the bridging visa grant letter from immigration to ensure that you have full work rights since you are currently on a student visa. If you will apply for BVA...

Bridging Visa A allows the holder to reside in Australia and gives the holder work and study permissions based upon the substantive visa they previously held. For example, if you held a Student Visa at the time you applied for a different substantive visa while in Australia, you will be granted a Bridging Visa A with the same work and study conditions as your Student Visa.

If for example you are on a temporary graduate visa then you applied for BVA, your work rights will be the same as your temporary graduate visa.

@jen.farne ICT po ako and got an ITA for 190 sa VIC. But I went for the 189 option so I withdrew the 190 ITA. Wala naman ako offer for employment and I got the ITA around 1 month after.
