@angelt your nominated occupation is accountant. Requirement para magkaroon ng positive assessment is AQF bachelor degree equivalent ka. Don't mixed your understanding between claiming points and complying with the requirement of the assessing body.

Points system is different topic. U want to know ano yung associate degree na may 10 points, well, that's for other occupation where in ang requirement sa kanila khit assoc degree lang is pede na ma meet ang requirement ng assessing body nila at magkaroon ng positive assessment kasi yun lang ang required sa kanila.

For you on the other hand bachelor degree.

@mafimushkila123 usually nag stat dec kapag hindi nabigyan ng official document required sa concern party. e.g. hindi mabigyan ni employer ng COE or di ka mabigyanni school ng syllabus. kaya in lieu mag stat dec ka na lng or affidavit stating the reason bakit di ka mabigyan at narrate mo na lang sa declaration na eto ang JD ko if its COE or eto ang mga subject inaral ko if syllabus.

Hi guys! kakacompute ko lang ng grades ko and unfortunately di sya pumasok sa required 1.00-2.00 🙁( anyone here na sec2 ang school, nonCPA, more than 2.00 ang GWA na nakareceive pa din ng positive assessment? i mean is it still possible? should i still try to have an assessment?

@angelt may grade requirement pala sa assessment? di ko na encounter yang requirement na yan. School ko din section2 and section 3 kasi nagtransfer ako in the middle ng course ko.

@batman oo daw kapag sec2 ung school ung GWA should be 1.00-2.00 daw to receive a positive assessment. Baka kasi pasok ka sa grade required kaya nakakuha ka ng positive assessment.

@angelt @batman CPAA won't explain you this. It's from the country education profile or CEP (by the Department of Education and Training). It provides information about the equivalence of overseas qualifications from all institutions and the grade is one of those things they look at. All assessing authorities are not in the position to decide on the equivalence of qualifications but they refer to the CEP when they do their assessment. Hence, the equivalence can be determined prior to skills assessment application lodgement.

@batman this is always the case. this information can't be easily googled. This is part of the legal training during my studies and it comes in handy when the applicant's qualification didn't come from an institution under section 1.

Hi po. May question lang po ako. If ang gusto ko lang malaman is kung qualified ba yung BS accounting ko dito sa philippines as bachelor of accounting sa au kailangan ko pa ba mag paassess sa CPAA?

@nkdeezy depends kong ano assessment ng assessing body. Pede cpaa, caanz or ipa, 3 ang assessing body for accountants. Section ng school nasa top ng forum, u can see if web view or using laptop ka

@nkdeezy all assessing authorities for accountant require a bachelor degree and having studied the mandatory subjects. You can have a degree equivalent to an Australian bachelor degree which is not relevant to accounting but have covered those mandatory subjects.

If you just want to know if your degree is equivalent to an Australian degree, just refer to CEP. However, i don't understand my you just want to know if your qualication equates to AQF bachelor degree in accounting. The skills assessessing authorities for accountants do not assess this way. When they issue the outcome letter they will confirm 2 things: 1. Your qualification equates to an AQF bachelor degree and 2. You meet the mandatory subjects
