ECE din po ako, pero sa Network rin ang field. Nagsstart palang ako mag gather ng mga payment evidence saka employment letter. Hopefully makumpleto ko sya. Meron din ba dito na 2 years lng ang dineduct ni ACS sa work exp?

Kung ACS or EA is depending sa job code na ipapaassess mo. Sa case ko, licensed ECE pero IT work ko since the start kaya sa ACS ako nagpa assess.

same case, sa network ako agad nagwork. Telco saka Enterprise kaya balak ko sana ACS para wla na rin CDRs. Nung nagpaassess po kayo sa ACS ilang years po yung dineduct sa work exp?

since ECE ako, then software engineer pinaassess ko, nagbawas ng 4 years kasi bachelors degree naman yung sakin.

2 years deduction ni ACS kung bachelor's degree na ICT Major ang assessment sayo, plus yung work exp mo is closely related sa job code mo. Check mo muna if under ACS yung job code na gusto mo ipaassess

Yung problema ko kasi nakapag Submit na ako ng EOI.

Anu ba yung impacts nito sa EOI's ko pag pina-appeal ko yung ACS? Ma didisregard ba kaagad yung positive result ko at magiging pending ulit yung skill assessment?

It still could work. We’ve had a number of cases with similar background and all were successful with 4-6 years taken out depending on the nominated occupation and evidences provided. I’ve attached a snapshot of the changes they implemented in 2020 regarding this.

With regards to choosing which skills assessing authority to choose, go for the one where you could claim the most work experience (last 10 years). Hope that helps

I’m not an applicant, I’m a MARA agent lodging cases for clients. I’m never satisfied with clients providing just those 2 - SSS and pag ibig as they are under the same type of evidence. Hence I’m not the right person to ask if things coukd work with only these two evidences. I’ve not done it and will never allow clients to submit with just those as based on the ACS guidelines, only those evidences will not be compliant. Hope that helps.

i-rerefund ba nla yung appeal payment if ever proven that yung incorrect yung previous assessment nila?

They should. I’ve had a few cases recently where I knew straight away the decision was incorrect. ACS seems to be chaotic lately as they are going through major transition. I tend to challenge the results first before any appeal…so far, in my 10 years experience, I’ve never had a client applied for an appeal. I end up turning their decisions around. I refuse to make my client resort to an appeal if I know the error is from ACS side - just out of principle.

May payslips naman po pero wala yung first. Minention ko may hire date sa payslip. SSS and PAGIBIG lang yung may first and last.😅

medj complicated nga. Bale dalawang supporting documents kelangan nila pag mag ssubmit ng stat-dec:

A) Employment certificate/statement of service on official company letterhead
Leaving certificate if no longer working at the same company

Bale eto yung "B" kulang ko, pero inexplain ko nalang sa Appeal na clearly stated naman sa employment certificate yung end of employment date and that walang Leaving Certificate na document na pinoprovide dito sa mga companya sa pinas. Hopefully they will reconsider my appeal.

Out of curiosity, paano nyu po chinachallenge yung result sa accessor? Pag nag response back kasi ako sa email, sobrang tagal mag reply tas hindi pa direct yung sagot, or parang iniiwasan sagutin ng maayos.

Yes, that’s the frustrating part with them lately….but I think given that they know I’m a MARA agent, they are more careful with their response as I could easily call them out - given the handful mistakes I have raised lately. They used to be very efficient, they respond straight away and the senior assessor looks into it…but that’s nit been the case lately. If we agents are frustrated, what more for those individuals.

I usually email the assessor to ask for explanation on my query if I’m not satisfied with the response I raise it to senior management and gets actioned straight away - tinututukan ko kasi yun nga super bagal sila and Minsan Magulo explanation….but with perseverance, I’m able to turn things around. By principle, I just won’t want my client to have to appeal and wait weeks for a decision when in the first place if the assessment was efficient, my client would have not been in such a predicament. Yeah extra work my end pero I just couldn’t tolerate the carelessness.

Curious lang po sir, did you also provide a COE for the Affiant dun sa Statutory declaration?

From my understanding, if you will be making a Statutory declaration you need 3 things to support it:

Your COE with employment dates
Notarized Statutory declaration from a colleague who is in a more senior position than you are
Your colleague's COE with employment dates from the same company

Plus the 2 different types of payment evidence

From my understanding, if you will be making a Statutory declaration you need 3 things to support it:

Your COE with employment dates

Notarized Statutory declaration from a colleague who is in a more senior position than you are

Your colleague's COE with employment dates from the same company

Plus the 2 different types of payment evidence

Yes, needed tlaga yung COE. Yun lang sinubmit ko as supporting document pra sa stat-dec na sinubmit ko.

Bali ito lang yung supporting docs na required for stat-dec:
1) Employment certificate/statement of service on official company letterhead (or COE)
2) Leaving certificate if no longer working at the same company (ito naman inexplain ko sa appeal na walang ganito na document sa pinas, tas sinabi ko lang na clearly stated namn yung end of employment date)

Hello po, just have a question regarding payment evidences, so far meron na kong SSS/Pag-ibig sa previous company ko. May problem now is yung 2nd form of payment evidence, I tried to contact them but they don't issue payslip na daw and yung copy ng ITR ko is kinuha kasi ng current employer ko and hindi na daw nila pwede ibalik sakin, I think nawala nila Is it possible kaya to request another copy of ITR from BIR po? Thank you!

You can request from BIR, but it's likely they can't give you ITR. Based sa isang nabasa ko before, once magsubmit sa kanila yung mga companies, nilalagay nila sa warehouse nila. I doubt mag eeffort sila maghanap ng ITR for an individual employee. So yung best option talaga is request another copy from your previous company.
