this thread is for visa 189/190/489- skilled migrant route.. hindi po employer sponsored.. Invitation to Apply means, you have passed the initial assessment (skills/english), then you will proceed on the next stage of visa processing (medical/police clearance and other verification)..
SkillSelect is for both routes: Skilled Migrant (those who want to apply on their own), and for Employer Sponsored (those who were selected by employers)..
Depende po sa total points nyo if you qualify to apply on your own, otherwise you can get additional points for relative sponsorship (your brother) + 5pts.. Anyway, you can start the Skills Assessment/IELTS immediately, medyo months po ito.. pag okay na yan, you can decide whether to apply on your own (if you have 60pts), or get other points (sponsorship)
You need to chose which occupation can give you the best chance of passing na assessment.. based on history mahirap pumasa ang Architect, so they nominate Archi draftsperson, or kung enough ang work exp nyo, you can nominate QS or Proj Coordinator if they are in the SOL/CSOL..
please compute/estimate your total EOI points.. that is the starting point..

@miss puwede pa po kayo mag apply ng sarili niyong visa...may kapatid kayo papunta na dun pero isipin niyo na lang na back up option na lang yung pagpetition sa inyo kasi hindi yun madali hehe...with your work experience, getting your own visa should not be too hard.

i have checked the 7 states and yung nominated occupation ko na Chemistry Technician ay nasa WASMOL but nakalagay dun schedule 2 Off-list. ano po ba ibig sabihin dun? hindi po ba ako maka apply for state sponsorship?

@dacozon10 - off-list means, its not currently in their priority list, but if you satisfy the other criteria, they can approve your state sponsorship application and later on invite for visa application..

read step no.3 and click "Criteria"... it will open theadditional criteria for off-list nomination..

about the additional criteria po, nalito po kasi ako, dahil sabi dun na meet one of the ff: currently working in WA....

or have an offer of employment for 12 months in WA.....

since hindi po ako currently working in WA, bale ang e submit ko po ba ay Certificate Of Employment sa atin dito?

@dacozon10, I would suggest po balikan niyo page 1 ng thread na ito...andun lahat ng basic guidelines at requirements hehe...magulo talaga yan sa simula...or if you want...idownload nyo yung migration booklet ng state na iaapply niyo

no.. as part of the off-list criteria, you need to have a current work in WA or may offer of employment ka to work in WA...

kung wala ka nito, im afraid hindi ka rin qualified for off-list nomination... ;(

yes meron pong thread.. but first you need to know what occupation ang gusto nyong ipa-assess..

Example: ACS for IT, CPAA- Accountant, EA-Engineers, VETASSESS/TRA- general occupations..etc..

graduate po ako ng nursing but did not take the local boards here in the philippines and have no work experience as nurse (second course ko po nurse). i recently took the ielts already. Can i apply thru skillselect? what website po ako pa assess? thank you in advance? and what website din po yung points test.

i can tell some info:

you need to be an AU registered nurse first, before you apply for skillselect as a skilled migrant
but before you can be an AU RN, you need to pass the assessment+bridging course+IELTS..

@peach17 the only you way can check that is in your visa application page,but sometimes hndi naguupdate online ng actual status ang mga CO.. So eithr tanungin mo sila or hntay hintay lng

Hello. New in this forum. Got questions po. I am a medical technologist here. Ngayon sponsor po ako ng aunt ko as student sa Sydney because this is the fastest way to go there. My plan is go there as a student, then pa assess ko skills ko while studying (AIMS for medical technologist) and kung positive ang assessment, pwede po ba ako mg apply via skillselect (either employer or state sponsored) kahit hindi pa tapos studies ko as long as I reach 60 pts? Yun kase plan ko para kahit hindi ko na tapusin studies ko pwede na makuha yung family ko. And pwede ko ba i claim ng points yung one year ko studies kahit hindi ko pa nakuha ang degree?
