PTA will be your basis on claiming EOI points on work experience, especially if you have worked in different companies with different job title, and you are not 100% sure that those other jobs are relevant to your nominated occupation..

but if you have only one work experience, the PTA is not necessary..

Hello po sa mga Kababayan, kasalukuyan din po akong nagproprocess ng aking requirement for skill assessment for GSM visa subclass 189, ako po ay Accountant. Matanong ko lang po if mas mabuti bang kumuha ng Migration Agent or hindi na lang po? @renee Syllabus are documents you can get from your school. Binibigay ito sa mga students usually at the 1st week of classes which outlines the topics to be discussed during the course of the semester.

@renee A migration agent can guide you on what to secure, etc... However, it will still be you who will get these document including the syllabus you are asking about.

Me and my wife did not secure the service of an agent, we just did our research and started firstly by reading the Booklet 6 of DIAC.

the fee is approximately 100aud for PTA for 2-3 work/companies..

so consider it as an investment.. to be sure in claiming for your points..

mas madali din ma-check ng CO (during visa processing), dahil may basis na rin sila..

personally i would recommend it..

pero kung sure na sure ka.. okay lang din.. pag hindi ka kasi nag PTA, ang i assess lang ng vetassess eh yung last work exp mo..

please double check with your assessing agency for more details..but in general,

you will need a detailed COE with information such as salary, length of service, job title, and detailed job description..
you might also need proof of income, such as payslip, ITR, employment contract, pwede din din SSS or pagibig payment summary, and sometimes bank statement with your salary remittances.. basically they want to check kung consistent ung salary na nasa COE mo versus sa mga documents above..
so i guess kung COE and salary certificate kasi parang pareho lang un na galing sa HR, medyo less effective ito.. just my opinion.

yes, you just need a state sponsorship to get 190...

some state may have particular requirements before they issue state sponsorship so check mo rin...

kung ano ang mga docs na sinubmit mo sa assessing body, yun din ang same documents na isusubmit mo sa visa application..

CTCed documents ang sinusubmit sa assessing body
colored scanned copy sa visa application
you keep the original copy for future use..

I will start my studies on July 2014 at Holmesglen TAFE. Then I will be 30 years old on July din 2014. What are my chances after I finish my 18months of study, makakapag extend po ba ako ng visa stay? Ano po marerecommend nio?
