Hi, im Catherine, I just would like to ask question/s in regards to my Qualification and Work Experience assessment. I have e-mailed EA regarding the status of it and get back a reply that follows:

While going through your application for the Qualification and Work Experience (WE) assessment, I noted the following:

•Evidence of Master's program, you claim to have completed, is not provided. You are required to submit certified copies of the Testamur and the Transcript for this program.

•The copy of the reference letter from (my Company name), you provided, is not signed. You are required to submit the certified signed copy of the reference letters.

My questions:

I did not claim any point in my Master's degree bec I have not completed the course but did mentioned it in my CV & CPD, what would I Do next? can I reply them via e-mail since I don't have the papers they are asking? (noting that no other formal communication will be undertaken as stated in the e-mail)
Also For the reference letter asked, I have given them the original so why I need to give Certified signed copy?
Lastly, they cannot evaluate further my Work Experience unless no.2 will be submitted. Technically speaking I don't have any papers more to provide them bec as per MSA booklet I can submit either Original papers or Certified True Copy of Papers.

Please advise me on these. I am really confused on what to do next. I will be grateful for your help. =(

@katkat - welcome to the forum..

it happens most of the time, your CO might have overlooked these things.. so just reply to them and explain exactly what you ust said hereon your post above

maybe you did not indicate that the course was not completed.. so clearly state that
tell them it is the original copy..

lock_code2004, sa e-mail kasi nila nakalagay dun the following note: "Please note, as stated in the MSA booklet, no other formal communication will be undertaken in this regard. " nag aalangan tuloy akong mag-email ulit at baka makulitan sa akin which will affect the assessment outcome...=(, but as per your advised mag e-mail n lng ako dun at ipaliwanag ang side ko.....salamat po! More power!

@katkat, can I ask what is the status of the "issue" with the unsigned COE? I may have the same problem. But I stated in a Statutory Declaration that my unsigned COE is "Computer Generated - No Signature Required" (This statement was also written at the bottom of the COE). I create the Statutory Declaration because I was advised by a friend to do so. (BTW, that friend of mine got a positive assessment with one of her COE also unsigned.).

My CDR papers are not expected to be checked until first week of November. So I’ll wait and see.

Hi, I'm planning to have my skills assessed for Production / Plant Engineer, required ba na board passer? I'm a BSME grad pero di ako nagtake ng board exam kasi after graduation na hire na ako as process engineer. I already have 7 years exp as engineer. Thanks!

@ShayShey - nope it is not required..

but some people say, PRC license has an impact on the assessment of your education qualification, whether it will be assessed as equivalent to AU degree or AU diploma, for the purpose of claiming EOI pts.

@ShayShey - make sure that your COE+job description matches with the ANZSCO job description of your nominated occupation...

also, that your CDR career episodes clearly demonstrate the skills required..

@btarroja213 , the assessor thought that the Employment Certificate was not signed. he did not see it first because the signature was on the company stamp..it was now clear to him and he said that my explanation was acceptable and the outcome is positive..=)... I think if if you stated that one (computer generated) then u will not face any problem..if in case nman may problem, they will inform u in writing and you can clarify with them via e-mail...=)

@ShayShey , ung PRC registration, factor lng sya sa assessment..the final say is ure CDR & how u will relate your experience as a production engineer...though ung pgkakaron ng PRC it will positively affect the assessment pero hindi nman sya a "Must"....=)

What are the chances na mag grant ka ng 190 if mag apply ka SS directly sa territory n gusto mu…sino n po naka experience n2? As I see, my processing fee (separate eto) at sa mismong territory ka mag aaply…anu po ang chances? Mas okay po ba if mag apply ka separately? Para 190 ang sponsorship at hindi 489?

@katkat: Thanks for the reply and congrats on your positive assessment! :-D

Regarding the PRC license, meron ba dito pumasa as Pro-Engineer na hindi PRC license holder/board passer? I have a long-time expired REE license but opted not to submit with my CDR because I do not have the certificate and PRC will not issue another certification unless I renew my license.

most visa 190 SS applications should be applied directly to the state, (except for WA na mag change na daw starting jul 1, kailangan mo na mag wait ng invitation from WA before you can apply SS)..

so if you are asking about the chances, it really depends on your application, if you satisfy the state's requirement, then you are almost 100% sure to get the SS approval (considering may slots pa of course)..

@lock_code2004, salamat bossing...as of the moment medu ang chances ko kasi will fall under sub class 489, im planning to retake the IELTS para madgdagan points ko..currently nasa 55 points n ako..I would like to go 190 sana kaso mas mabilis ngaun ang 489 & 189.., sa 489 visa kasi di ka entitled sa medicare right? tas provisional pa sya..unless if 190 or 189, pede kn after mg apply citizenship..medu confuse ako ngaun..tapos n din kasi EA assessment ko..
