@btarroja213 , it wud be better if isama mu na as attachment ung PRC certification mu..madali lng ngaun ang renewal...as per advice kasi ng AE, any certification from PRC wud positively affect the outcome...in my case, habng ginagawa ko CDR ko, on process renewal ng PRC ko, relative ko ang nag process since andto ako currently sa Dubai..mabilis lng sya 15 days matatapos un..=)

@katkat, na submit ko na yung CDR application ko last June 6. Try ko kunin certification. Baka sakali maka habol.

Pwede kaya copy ng old license ko plus online verification from PRC website padala ko?

@btarroja213 , dko po alam f pede ung copy ng old license mu at online verification from PRC website..try mu lng if acceptable at I quote mu ung contact ID mu n bingay nila nung na receive nila docs mu...pero for the record, as attachment din s Work Experience ko ung mga link n pede nila I verify ang employment status ko dto sa Dubai...ewan ko lng if nag online verification sila pero isinama ko n din =) (websilte un ng Ministry of labor d2 sa Dubai)

Good Day po sa lahat.

I am preparing my CDR for assessment with Engineers Australia, one of their requirement is Certified evidence of registration with PRC. Tanong ko po kelangan ko po ba i renew ang PRC license ko o accepted nila kahit ung Certificate ng PRC na parang Diploma? Simula po kasi ng makuha ko ang license ko di n po ako nakapagparenew since di naman po ganong kagamit ang license sa profession ko as ECE.

Kung required po irenew, pano po kaya ang best way to renew while wala ako sa Pinas? Anu po mga requirements?

Hi ceriel, meron ako kilala nakakuha ng possitive assessment as Pro-Engineer na same and situation sayo. Hindi nag renew pero merong certificate of registration ng PRC. Make sure lang to submit a CTC of the certificate.

Sa case ko kasi, nawala na yung certificate ko and PRC will not issue a new one pag hindi ako nag renew.

Thanks katkat. Wala naman siguro masama pag send ko yung picture ng old license. Sana lang mabasa pa yung details. Faded na masyado (was issued way back in 1996 :-D). Anyway, gawan ko na lang din ng Statutory Declaration together with the instructions how to verify online sa PRC website.

Hi! I am currently in Australia under student visa for 2 yrs. I planning to apply for subclass 189, but first i need my skills to be assessed by EA. Graduate po kasi ako ng engineering kaya lang po 15 yrs ago pa. I only have six years of work experience as an engineer kasi po more of teaching na po ako bago ako umalis ng philippines. Do you think po may chance for me to get a positive result from EA?

@lock_code2004 Masters in MIS ang course ko dito sa au, IT subjects po kasi ang tinuturo ko sa phils (tertiary level). Yung 6 years po work experience ko as an engineer in a fabrication plant is within the last 10 yrs. Manufacturing engineering po ang degree ko, kaya lang medyo hindi pa sure sa assessment kasi matagal na ako graduate. At baka ma-question po ako dahil meron po time employed ako as an engineer tapos nagtuturo ako partime. Meron po ba kayo suggestions?

@oz3girl - kung relevant ang work exp mo (ung 6 years) sa mfg engr degree mo..

pwede ka nmn mag pa-assess sa EA..

IE ako, at nagpart-time prof din ako for 2 years.. pero IE nmn ang pina-assess ko sa EA....

my job description and my CDR-career episodes were all related to IE..

it doesnt matter kung matagal na kayo graduate, ang guidelines lang naman eh within the last 10 yrs dapat ang work exp mo...

just like you, ang ipa-assess mo nmn eh ung 6 yrs work exp mo, at hindi ung part-time teaching..

if i were you, estimate your EOI pts, (age, work, ielts, educ, AU study pts kung 2 yrs ang course mo, etc).... kung makakakuha ka ng atleast 55 pts+5 pts SS =60pts,

i will proceed with the EA assessment, especially na valid pa ang IELTS mo..

prepare your documents, read EA guidelines, prepare your CDR-career episodes..

Magtanong rin po pala ako regarding SS, pano po ba ang procedure dun? kasi po 55 points lang ako, kelangan ko po ng additional 5 points. Naggagrant po ba ang NSW (Sydney)? Since andito na rin po ako at dito rin ang work ko.

why not apply for SS... magsubmit ka na ng EOI mo.. and select visa 190....

that will make your total EOI pts 55+ 5 SS = 60pts..

then apply kana sa mga states.... while doing this, if you are really eager, you can take IELTS...

para pag tumaas ang score mo sa IELTS, you can edit your EOI and change to visa 190..

in this case, walang sayang na oras, malay mo mauna pa mainvite sa visa 190...

definitely... especially na may work kana dyan... mas mataas ang chance na ma-grant ka...

why not apply for employer PR sponsorhsip though?

@ lock_code2004 last option ko po ang employer sponsorship, ang alam ko po ksi na policy pag ganun kelangan mag serve ng 2 years sa company kung sponsor nila. ung company ko po ksi sourcing sya medyo nag iisip ako baka pag sponsor nila e masyado i bargain ang rate ko..maraming salamat po.

we'll then you can process your own PR visa naman din..

walang restrictions sa company, but of course you'll pay for the visa..

@ lock_code2004 kita ko po ang timeline nyo. parang ang bilis po ng EA application nyo. Currently po ksi 19 weeks ang turn around periods nila. Actually, if ever na masubmit at ma invite thru skill select before Dec pasok p po ako ng 60 points. Medyo na late po ako pag take ng IELTS tas unknowingly ganun pala po katagal ang waiting ngayon with EA. Meron po ba kayo alam n way to expedite my EA application. Something like sa Pinas na me mga express services?
