@ceriel - medyo sinuwerte lang, dahil wala siguro nagpapa-assess during my time..

unfortunately, there is now way you can expedite the assessment result with EA..

okay lang yun, by that time, ubos na ang matataas na EOI pts, so malaki na ang chance na mabilis mainvite ang 60pts na EOI...

just hope na hindi pa ubos ang occupation limit (slots) ng nominated occupation mo..

@lock_code2004 - ang problem po ksi pagpasok ng Dec i'll be turning 33, so mababawasan ako ng 5 points if di umabot ang invitation before my birthday.

@ceriel: I've been tracking the msa-status of EA everyday since I submitted my CDR. I looks like the number of weeks for processing is getting shorter and shorter everyday. I'm not sure if this is because there were less CDR submissions 3 to 4 months ago. By my counting, the turn around these days is 14 weeks.

@ceriel - oh okay.. check with EA if they can expedite your case..

sa ibang assessing agency kasi (like Vetassess) pwede ka magrequest ng priority processing for valid reason/s like ung birthday nga that will affect the EOI pts..

enquire ka sa EA website...

That would be great if possible. I myself naghahabol ng edad... I'll be 40y/o on Feb 2014. That would mean a 10 points deduction for age. I will email them to see if it is possible.

@btarroja213 - 14 weeks nalang po ba ngayon? Last Sunday when we checked it 19 weeks po ang turn around period. Bk maihabol ko pa po, atleast di ko n kailanganin ang SS o company sponsorship.

@lock_code2004 tawagan ko po ang EA ngayon, baka possible nga mapabilis ng konti. Share ko po dito ang outcome.

Hello Guys... share ko lang ang reply ng EA re: if PRC License is required for EA assessment

"If you are practicing Engineering in the Philippines, it will be necessary for you to be to be registered with the PRC for the assessment.

If you are not currently practicing in the Philippines, then it will not be necessary."

"Yes, what you propose should be fine ... it's just that if you were working in the Phillippines without a PRC License, then it would be unreasonable to expect to be assessed as a Professional Engineer for migration to Australia if you are not recognised as a Professional Engineer in your own country."

I am currently working as engineer abroad kaya I will be assessed without PRC license.

Ito po reply ng EA regarding expedited assesment:

So I have to say that for the moment we would not consider your case to be sufficiently urgent to warrant bypassing others in the queue who have submitted in a more timely fashion.</b></blockquote>

I have called EA and they advised me to write a letter regarding my case and include it with my application. Such case will be entertained.

Pwede po makahingi ng sample copy of cdr, production/industrial/mechanical engineer, kung ano po ang meron kayo... although nabasa ko na po ang guidelines ng EA... i am not sure kung tama po yung naumpisahan kong career episode... pls email to trikevca@gmail.com thank you!

Question for those with more than 10 years experience. For your career episodes, did you use a project or job description you have done more than 10 years ago? Or did you (or should) limit the career episodes within the last 10 years?

Sa case ko, I included a project i did 12 years ago. But I have the same job for 15 years na and it is in-line with my nominated profession. Ok lang ba yun?

@lock_code2004: Same job, different companies po (basically moved to a direct competitor. So exactly the same job description and function).
