@jakibantiles 60 days is for you to lodge the visa application. pag inassess ng case officer at may kulang na docs, you will receive a notice about that lacking document at usually you will be given 28 days to submit or complete that.

Hi everyone!

Hope all is well. I am currently waiting for my skill assessment results. If positive po yung results, my partner and I plan to apply for visa 190 (Victoria) at 85 points. In line with this, I would like to kindly ask po sana below questions about the visa 190 procedure for victoria and the financial capacity requirement of 35K AUD for an offshore applicant (with 1 dependent) applying for subclass visa 190 nomination for victoria/ melbourne.

(1) if required po yung funds, how long po kaya dapat na nakasit sa bank yung 30KAUD na funds para di magmukhang suspicious sa bank statement?

(2) ideally dapat po ba naka ready na yung bank statement / certificate bago po ako magsubmit ng EOI?

(3) if selected and maka receive po ako ng invite to apply for Victorian visa nomination, then I will have to submit all the relevant documents and proof to support thr EOI points I claimed including the the proof of financial capacity ng 35KAUD (1 dependent applicant) i.e bank statement / certificate?

Good day guys ask ko lang if may way ba mag follow up ng application? Lodged my 491 last april pa and based sa processing times 71 days daw ang 90% of applications. It's already 73 days for me and simple lang naman case ko since I dont have any work exp docs. I'm sure na covid caused this but any insights? Have no choice but to wait either way. Cheers!

Although I can Google everything naman, I still have some few questions about visa 491. Eto po isa sa choice ko besides 482. I just want some tips and answers dito sa ating co pinoyauers since na dami niyo na experiences about applying:

1) How does the Skilled Work Regional Visa work in terms of Sponsorship? (Visa 491)Panu po ba ang best move para ma nominate? Should I just wait for the Immigration site or should I send applications state by state?

2) My cut off po ba ang applications for visa 491? Kasi may nabasa akong mga opening dates?

3) Should I just wait until next year para mag apply ? BTW I'm still gathering my documents, I just need an IELTS examination and funds.hehehe

4) Which state ang pinaka magandang i suggest niyo po in case of Visa 491?Depende po ba sa Job?

Go to their website, check their requirements especially sa points, Occupation lists, etc. Yes, application is per state. You could apply to multiple states though and depende nlang kung anong state mag grant ng sponsorship

I suggest only apply once you have atleast the IELTS results.. And as mentioned, check their website constantly, their requirements might change..

ikaw lang makasagot nito.. do your research kung saan best based sa occupation/family mo.. lahat naman ng state maganda eh. If I were you, apply to 2 or 3 state at a time then if mag invite lahat, piliin mo lang gusto mo..

Go to their website, some states, this is a requirement

so 1st step mo talaga is check their websites (just google them).. check their requirements esp sa points, occupation list and if needed a job offer ahead or not

Just gonna answer this in summary.

Before starting your application need mong ma determine kung anung occupation mo. Sa Anzsco pwede mong icheck kung anung occupation ka and anung assessing body ang mag assess ng occupation mo. DO this first kasi this takes a lot of time. Be cautious too kasi may validity lang ang skills assessment. so kung magpapa assess ka, dapat malapit ka narin mag apply.

you can do two things from here: 1. wait for the assessment to have a positive results or 2. Start acing your English exams while waiting for the skills results. Some people got Superior in 1st test but for others who dont speak English very often it needs lot of review and practice. so Again, timing and planning to.

if you have the skills assessment and English, ready kana mag lodge ng EOI. But of course you dont just lodge anyhow, search again sa Anzsco kung anung state ang open sa occupation mo at kung anung Visa ang inoofer nila. Some offer both 491 and 190 (much better ang 190 kasi PR). still need a lot of research.

Great take away here: invest a lot of time sa research.... kakampi mo si Google dito kasi halos lahat ng infos nasa net na. If you think you situation is a little bit more complicated, hire an agent that will help you. Still, research research research. Or look for the trusted agent here in pinoyau, her name is Ms.Rhea.

My nominated occupation po kasi, I mean my target occupation kasi is under Building and Engineering Technicians nec - ANZSCO 312999, which is Shipbuilding Draftsperson and halos pareho din po kasi ng Mechanical Draftsperson yung Job derscription, pero kasi Computer Science ako then ang experience ko is drafting , and mas madali siguro ang 491 kasi pag mechanical, sa EA ka magpapa asses. Baka mas mahirap. Anyway, Maraming Salamat po mam for taking some time on giving some tips! God Bless po!

Just be careful in choosing ur nominated occupation. Lalo na parang nagkapareho sila. Hehe i learned the hard way kasi sa 3rd time ko pa nalaman yung totoong occupation ko. Magkakapareho kasi e. So imagine, i spent AUD2k just for assessment. 😭 Kaya careful sa pag papaasess.

But of course you dont just lodge anyhow, search again sa Anzsco kung anung state ang open sa occupation mo at kung anung Visa ang inoofer nila. Some offer both 491 and 190 (much better ang 190 kasi PR). still need a lot of research.

Great take away here: invest a lot of time sa research.... kakampi mo si Google dito kasi halos lahat ng infos nasa net na. If you think you situation is a little bit more complicated, hire an agent that will help you. Still, research research research. Or look for the trusted agent here in pinoyau, her name is Ms.Rhea.

My nominated occupation po kasi, I mean my target occupation kasi is under Building and Engineering Technicians nec - ANZSCO 312999, which is Shipbuilding Draftsperson and halos pareho din po kasi ng Mechanical Draftsperson yung Job derscription, pero kasi Computer Science ako then ang experience ko is drafting , and mas madali siguro ang 491 kasi pag mechanical, sa EA ka magpapa asses. Just be careful in choosing ur nominated occupation. Lalo na parang nagkapareho sila. Hehe i learned the hard way kasi sa 3rd time ko pa nalaman yung totoong occupation ko. Magkakapareho kasi e. So imagine, i spent AUD2k just for assessment. 😭 Kaya careful sa pag papaasess.

Ay ganun ba, I was thinking, sa assesment, kung di match sa ininput mo eh mag su suggest sila ng pinaka malapit sa job description mo. Kung anu pala na input mo, yun na, uulit ka pala?! Yikesss :o
Haha oo. Siguro nng pangalawang negative outcome ko naawa na ung Vetassess, kaya sila na nag suggest. Hahha kaya sa pangatlong try, nakapositive na.

Hello po sa lahat :-) For 491 EOI, pwede po ba na yung e lalagay ko na state under _"In which State or Territory would the client be interested in seeking nomination from?" _ ay hindi kapareho dun sa state na tinitirahan ng eligible sponsor ko (relative) ?

For example po, yung e lalagay ko sa EOI na preferred location ko is South Australia, tapos yung eligible sponsor ko po ay nakatira sa Designated Regional Area ng WesterAustralia.

Wala po bang magiging issue pag ganito? Sana po may makatulong o maka sagot.... Maraming salamat sa inyo mga kapatid :-)

Good Day po,

Magtatanung lang po about sa VISA 491, hanggat wala pong opening na work dun sa State na target mo, di ka pwede ma nominate? or pwede ka ma nominate ng state, as long as you satisfied their criteria for future employment?
