Sigh! New Update from Victoria... 🙁 sana magkahimala pa rin sa mga nag apply na before Oct 1.

Advance notice of temporary closure in skilled applications for ICT occupations

24 September 2014

Due to a large volume of applications received, skilled state nomination online applications for ICT occupations will not be accepted from 1 October 2014 to 5 January 2015.

We anticipate this closure to be for a period of three months, however further updates will be provided if required.

The occupations affected by this are:

135112 ICT Project Manager

261111 ICT Business Analyst

261112 Systems Analyst

261311 Analyst Programmer

261312 Developer Programmer

261313 Software Engineer

261314 Software Tester

261399 Software and Applications Programmers nec

262111 Database Administrator

262112 ICT Security Specialist

263111 Computer Network and Systems Engineer

This temporary closure will allow us to process all outstanding applications and to reduce the risk of delay for future applicants.

All applications currently in process, and received prior to 1 October 2014, will be assessed against current guidelines and an outcome will be provided in due course.

Applications for all other occupations eligible for Victorian Government nomination remain open.

Applicants applying under the streamlined PhD and 457 pathways are not affected by this closure and may apply with ICT occupations during this time.

@ArvieP sa akin po less than 3 yrs din na assess ng ACS pero ni risk ko pa rin i submit kasi mi nabasa ako ni approve sya kahit 2 yrs lng na assess sa kanya. Ni credit daw yung other work experience nya. Sa new update ng ACS I think better i try mo na habol before Oct 1 especially if yung ocucpation mo nasama dun sa ni struck out nila na list.

Agree! May ilang araw pa naman, kung puwede na mag submit, submit na 🙂

@persephone30 thank you...ngpareassessed ako ng new code..it only took 10 days now sa ACS suitable nmn sy...so khit 2 yrs 8 mos na assessed and Vic SS requires min 3 yrs experience pede ko pa din ipasa? tama po b? thanks ulit

@ArvieP Opo kasi yung isang member dito 2 yrs lng na assess sa kanya but na approved sya sa VIC SS...and someone mentioned here din few pages back na kinoconsider ng VIC ang whole experience mo hindi lng yung na assess ng ACS. Basta weigh your options nlng. They say hanggang Jan 2015 nila iclose yung nominations and not sure kung anong occupations iaaccept nila by that time.

@persephone30 mejo nasad naman ako dito.. kasi sa Friday (Oct 3) ko pa makuha IELTS ko.. hindi na ako aabot sa State Sponsorship ng VIC. 189 nalang pag-asa ko! Although may account na ko sa VIC website, di ko naman masubmit kasi ala pang IELTS result.

Hi Question po ano po ba ibig sabihin pag naka strike out yng occupation sa Victoria? ksi lahat ng ICT naka strike out e.. meaning hndi na po pwede magpasa?

@Hunter_08 it means suspended ang occupation for state nomination, hindi muna sila tatanggap ng application for ICTs, so sad sana magopen agad next year

@magoo_z kakasad nga... feeling ko anliit na ng chance ma approve ss ko sa vic 🙁 ala pa ring result hanggang ngayon... ilang yrs po na grant sa inyo ng ACS?

i pray na ma approve po yung application nyo for VIC sponsorhip. I can attest na once state sponsored kayo halos approved na din ang VISA. I am also in 190 visa VIC sponsored. It only took one week for my application sponsorhip then automatic my invite agad on the same day to lodge a visa application

@danz1213 Business Analyst young nominated occupation ko. December 9, 2013 ako ng lodge ng visa application then Feb 12, 2014 visa grant na.

Hi Everyone!I received the good news today! Na approve po sponsorpship ko sa VIC..Isang himala talaga kasi 1 yr lng na assess sa akin ng ACS. Good luck po sa lahat ng nag aantay ng VIC SS 🙂

@eddie_thomas nanghihinayang ako na di ako umabot.. Oct 3 kasi lumabas IELTS result ko.. may account na ko sa VIC website pero kailangan kasi Oct 1 submitted.

Pero ganon talaga! Waiting game nalang sa 189.. Sana mainvite na tayo soon.
