Hello everyone. Been in a slumber mode for quite some time. Would just like to share my IELTS experience for the past 2 days.
In speaking, task 2 topic is about an odd job I think I can do in the future.
In Writing, to what extent do you agree/disagree if technological advancement has pos/neg impact on the lives of individuals.
My tip in speaking is to be confident (but not too much) and make an effort to speak even on unfamiliar topics. If ever you are asked one, think of answers which you can relate most to yourself (in work, family, hobbies, etc)to improve fluency.
For reading, i did a lot of speed reading drills. There are a variety of apps for those who have smartphones. It helped me build stamina and,of course, speed. Ideal time for reading one academic passage is 5 min only. At the end of the day it's still comprehension that matters. So practice talaga. Same thing goes with essay writing and listening. I can say there are really no shortcuts so for those who are taking the test in a few weeks time, you need to double your time reviewing. Kayang-kaya yan. Magaling naman tayong mga Pilipino kahit sa cramming. Hehehe

Yeah it's good @Jeebs brought this up. ...something we overemphasize..yung confidence...as much as it makes the conversation engaging (kung confident yung tao), we should also try to make it natural...huwag yung masyadong 'feelingero' at huwag pilitin ang accent kung wala naman talaga hehe π
