Hi IA friends!

Gusto ko lang po sana malinawan sa Employment Evidence specifically <b class="Bold">Statutory Declarations and Affidavits</b>. I read the description at VETASSESS website and can't make a clear understanding out of it.

1) Is this optional?

2) Simple concrete example po sana on contents you put in your Statutory Declaration/Affidavit (base sa experience niyo in accomplishing one).

3) Too much to ask, I know, but would be delighted should someone upload a sample document (kahit general outline lang) for my reference (and of diligent future IA forum members').

@bcondepascua you will need Stat dec only if you cant get COE with detailed job description from your employer due to some specific reason. samples are online.

Hi IA friends, Im new to this group. Got a positive assessment from VetAssess last Dec. 2016 with 4.3yrs. In the assessment I filed, that excludes my current employer. But when I lodged my EOI just this month, Ive included my current employer (Oct2016 to present). Question:

Is this correct? Or should I just limit the employment info to those which were disclosed in the VetAssess.

@mseah I think if you move to a new employer that has not been assessed by VETASSESS, you shouldn't claim points for that in your EOI (you can include it but mark it as "not claiming points".

If you want to claim points for that employment, you should have that assessed first. Goodluck!

@mseah The thing is, when you lodge your visa, DIBP will match the work experiences that you're claiming points for against the result of VETASSESS skills assessment. So if they see that you are claiming points for a work experience that has not been assessed by VETASSESS as relevant, then there's a high chance that you're application will be denied/declined due to over-claiming of points.

You can still push through with it if you want, it's up to you. 🙂

Hi guys!

I am very new sa group na ito and this is my first time to leave a comment. I just want to ask kasi I am planning na mag pa assess sa VETASSESS as Internal Auditor. Meron po ba dito sa group na makapag share ng checklist, forms and format nila just to make sure lang po na wala akong namiss na documents to get positive feedback? And if makakuha po ba ng negative response sa assessing body ilang months po ulit bago mag apply?

@patrickcpacia I can only comment on the job market here in Sydney. I received a more-than-decent job offer after only less than three weeks of job hunting. Even after that, I was still receiving calls and emails from various recruiters. So based on experience, okay yung market ng IA dito. 🙂

Hi Everyone,

Question lang po sa Affidavit/Statutory Declaration.

I already finalized and printed mine and went to a notary public (around PRC since its near where I currently live). To my dismay, the "attendant" of the notary directed me to Manila City Hall for notarization for the reason, according to her, my document will be used abroad.

Is she correct (which I doubt)? Base on what I read on this forum, any notary public may do the notarization of the Affidavit/Stat. Dec.

I agree with MisterV. Nsa Sydney ung mostly ng coporate offices so mas marami IA opportunities sa NSW.

I am an internal auditor too but based in Melbourne. May IA roles dito pero less compared sa sydney. I still get calls every now and then from recruiters in Sydney for IA jobs but I prefer to live in Melbourne than Sydney. In your case kung wala ka nmn preference sa state then go to Sydney.

Pero reminder lang, don't expect too much about finding a job easily case-to-case basis pa din.

@Xiaomau82 thank you for the link. Kamusta ang status ng application mo? Nakapag migrate kanaba? Balak ko kasi mag paassess sa vetassess ng sarili lang at walang agency. Sa tingin mo mas advicesable yun?

Sa mga requirements din okei lang ba na hindi kasama ang prc id ko? Kasi expired na sya e.

It will save you money but be careful. You have monitor kasi lately mejo madaming changes sa regulation pero doable naman, madami nga dito wala din agency. ok lang na di kasama prc, just include the prc cert since wala nmn expiration un

@Xiaomau82 thank you again. Yup ang dami din talagang regulations. We are considering din kasi sana mag agency kaya lang sa 3 pinuntahan ko iba iba ang option na sinasabe. Nag agency kaba? Any suggestion kung ano na yung trusted mo. Sa middle east ako base sa Dubai.

sg based kasi kami. mas ok agencies dito. 🙂 pero kun kaya nio nmn na kayo na lang m,as ok din minsan. pero u have to devote your time lang tlaga na magresearch

Hi IA folks. Any one here who has received a invite in previous invitation rounds? Currently, I only have 65 (189) / 70 (190) points. EOI lodged last July. How long is the waiting period to receive an invite?
