Hi am been in the IT Education teaching programming and networking for 15years, am also Microsoft Certified Professional, pwede po ba ako mag pasa rin po sa ACS? hindi ko rin po alam kung pasok sa SOL ung skilled ko, pa help naman , thanks

I think your occupation would be ICT Trainer. wala po siya sa SOL pero nasa CSOL. It looks like SA and NT are the states providing sponsorship for this ANZSCO code. Good luck po!

Good Day! Ask ko lang po kung anong pinag kaiba ng ANZSCO code na 261111 - ICT Business Analysts versus 261112 - Systems Analysts. It seems na closely parehas. I am an SAP Finance and Consulting Functinal Consultant, both doing production system support and SAP Implementation. I hope somebody here could help me kung ano yung tamang ANZSCO Code or has a similar job role with me. Thanks and more power po sa inyo. 🙂

Below information is from the ACS' ANZSCO Description 2015:

261111 - ICT Business Analysts

Identifies and communicates with users to formulate and produce a requirements specification to create system and software solutions.

Description of Employment Duties:

 working with users to formulate and document business requirements

 identifying, investigating, and analyzing business processes, procedures and work practices

 identifying and evaluating inefficiencies and recommending optimal business practices, and system functionality and behavior

 using project management methodologies, principles and techniques to develop project plans and to cost, resource and manage projects

 taking responsibility for deploying functional solutions, such as creating, adopting and implementing system test plans, which ensure acceptable quality and integrity of the system

 creating user and training documentation, and conducting formal training classes

 developing functional specifications for use by system developers

 using data and process modeling techniques to create clear system specifications for the design and development of system software

 acting as a central reference and information source, providing guidance and assistance in the system project decision making process

261112 - Systems Analysts

Evaluates processes and methods used in existing ICT systems, proposes modifications, additional system components or new systems to meet user needs as expressed in specifications and other documentation.

Hello po sa lahat. Salamat ky lord at nakita ko forum na ito makakatulong sa amin ng malaki ito lalo na po na we decided ng husband ko na wag na mag agent kase medyo mahal din. Una ko pong tanong ano po ba dapat namin gawin kase yung husband ko po ay BS Industrial Engineering pero ang work po nya ay Software Tester since September 2006? Thank you in advance po.

@mavert, since tester si husband, i think need nya mag-pa-access sa ACS din. so ang unang steps is to gather docs. - COE (with detailed job description from all previous employers) or if hindi available, statutory declaration. back read/search forum ka lang makikita mo yung mga information needed sa COE at yung format ng statutory. also need ng Transcript at Diploma. have them all notarized. then submit mo na ACS para maaccess nila.

Aside from that review narin for PTE or IELTS para mabilis ang usad ng requirements. 🙂

@mavert you may also want to consider PTe Academic instead of IELTS.

@mavert sabi nga nila mas madali ang PTE though mas mahal ata. not sure wait natin yung ibang nakapag-exam on both.

Depende sis kung anung mas magandang unahin. pero kasi yung IELTS/PTE need ng preparation specially if you are rooting for a higher score. Ako kasi initially may IELTS na nung 2014 kaya dire-direcho yung pag process (you can refer to my timeline). I suggest review/practice as early as now, gather documents for assessment then submit na pag-complete na. 🙂 wala namang issue kung anung mas mauuna. 🙂

@mavert mas ok po is unahin muna skills assessment. Pag favorable results then saka ka mag IELTS or PTE..i suggest PTE..mas malaki ang chance to get 20 pts..mabilis pa results

</blockquote>sister ko Tester din, but we had her assessed as Systems Analyst since Tester kasi is on CSOL which requires state nomination. I think, first step is to check which nominated occupation best fit your husbands occupation. you can check http://www.border.gov.au/Trav/Work/Work/Skills-assessment-and-assessing-authorities/skilled-occupations-lists/CSOL as much as possible try to find an occupation na nasa SOL instead of CSOL.

As of now po nag request na sya ng COE sa previous company nya. Thank you po talaga sa mga help nyo. God Bless po!!!

@mavert yup most likely na mag RPL hubby mo kng hndi related ung qualification sa work experience. Not sure kng 5 or 6 yrs deduction ng ACS yan

@mavert so far kasi according to my research mas favor ako sa PTE kaya si hubby PTE ang pinakuha ko instead of IELTS. Yung written sa PTE, you will just type it sa computer unlike sa IELTS na magsusulat ka talaga manually. Maraming info about PTE that you can read here sa forum.
