<blockquote class="Quote" rel="Chad">hi All -
I submitted my education and skills documents to ACS for assessment yesterday. How soon do you think the result comes out based on your experiences? Also, has anyone of you completed the degree in ladderrized program?
Like:
Diploma #1: finished Technology course (year 2000); then work for 7 years.
Diploma #2: After working 7 years, continued to the degree program (finished 2007) while working and still working up to now.
Thanks!

Sana balik ka dito after you receive your assessment. Your situation is tricky, I can envision 2 possible outcomes:
If ACS assessed your 1st course in 2000, education should be AQF diploma worth 10 points then work experience will be deducted by at least 5 years.
If ACS started assessment on your bachelor degree, education might be assessed as AQF bachelor worth 15 points, but first 7 years of work experience might be nullified as work experience claim eligibility will start once you complete your degree. Work experience will be further deducted by 2-4 years depending on your course.
I'd like to find out how ACS comes up with their decisions based on these situations. Results should be out in about 10 working days/ 2 weeks. Thanks!
