if I were you problemahin nyo muna yung pag sstayan nyo .. staka nyo na isipin yung school ... normally they would always be a close school in your area

1 month advance or they called it bond. You can find in www.allhomes.com.au

Hi, magandang gabi po. My wife needs to go to jindabyne on the 31st of Oct to 3rd of Nov. Hindi sya comfortable magdrive pa dito sa Oz at walang public transport papunta dun. Baka meron po dito sa forum na pwede ihire from Canberra or may kilala kayo who can offer to drive her from Canberra airpot to Jindabyne. We're willing to pay for the service. Maraming salamat.

@ae12, try checking mga job sites like Seek, CareerOne, etc. One thing to note though is that IT jobs in Canberra usually require citizenship, or security clearances since most jobs are under Federal Gov't offices.

@carboy: used to be, but now based in Sydney.

@ae12: based on my observation lang, Sydney and Melbourne are usually more ideal for IT opportunities para sa mga PRs. According to a recruiter in Canberra, she said there are some government offices that will accept PRs but for smaller roles and some of these are not even advertised.

I am not sure if you can check the occupation quota for an individual state, but you can view the occupation ceiling numbers in skillselect. Go to the skillselect site <a href="">http://www.immi.gov.au/skills/skillselect/</a> then go to Reports > Occupation Ceilings.

Nag register lang ako sa mga recruiting agency na sites and one of them responded to me para daw ma manage ang expectations ko kasi mas mahihirapan talaga makapasok in Canberra if nag require ng citizenship or security clearances. "Difficult, but not impossible" were her words.

I would really love to move to Canberra. I stayed there for 14 months before on a 457 Visa...it's a good place to raise a family.. quality of education is very good..... kaso lang main concern talaga ay yung work oppty... unlike here in Sydney.. limited yung work oppty doon for non-citizen..

@Husker I tried contacting Pam and Michele ng Migration Services ng ACT pero di pa nagreply. Were they helpful? Balak ko pumunta na sa July 2014. May masusuggest po ba kayo na place na ok to tirhan sa Canberra?
