@chehrd yup may tendency na ma fail, sad truth. during my time I missed 2 items. I got 63. pero kong perfect mo naman yung ibang naunang items chances marereach mo pa din 65

@chehrd Yup, still possible. Di ko din natapos Listening, pero I got 79 pa din. But I failed in Speaking. Kaya i need to take the exam again.

@norcarevir I took the PTE exam twice. On the second time, different set na. Pero naulit yung isang Summarize Spoken text. Other than that, lahat iba na.

Nakuha ko na scores ko. OK Naman.

Suggestions.

Practice w/ a timer sa describe image at retell lecture. Pati yung note taking, orasan mo. Mawawala ang kaba mo pag-tagal. Matututo ka pa mag-manage ng oras. Maraming graphs na pwede pag-practice-an online.
Kung meron ka nung McMillan at Mock Test Software na may 3 sets ng exams, unahin mo mag-review nung McMillan at kung ano pang online reviewer na makuha mo. Tapos pag medyo kampante ka na sa performance mo, saka mo isa-isahin yung sets ng Mock test software. Pag kabisado mo na kasi ang sagot don sa Mock Test Software, wala na siya silbi.
Kung me extra cash ka at gusto mong i-gauge nasan na ang competency mo sa English, bili ka nng PTE scored exam set A & B (or yung Gold set). Eto ang assessment ko sa possible outcomes ng scores na makukuha mo (based sa personal experience). Wag ka kukuha nung scored practice exams ng hindi ka nagrereview (unless confident ka sa English competency mo) ng at least 1 week.
Pag ang LSRW mo, lower than 65 for BOTH sets, kailangan mo pa talaga ng maraming practice/review. Lalo na kung confident ka sa English mo, tapos ganyan ang score mo. Sa tantiya ko, at least 3 months na review pa.
Pag ang LSRW mo, consistent na 65 for BOTH sets, pwedeng pumasa ka, pwede ring sumabit ka. Pero siguro kaya naman ng 3 months na review na ma-improve ito.
Pag ang LSRW mo, naglalaro sa 70s consistently for BOTH sets, malamang papasa ka na unless kabahan ka or me topak yung mic/machine.
Pag ang LSRW mo, naglalaro sa 80s-90s consistently for BOTH sets, you should expect to get the same scores sa actual, unless kinabahan ka o may topak yung mic/machine.

Goodluck sa lahat ng test takers. Sana pumasa kayo o maabot yung scores na gusto niyo.

PS: Meron akong comment pala don sa Lofoya na Parajumble exercise. Yung iba don na explanation, walang kwenta kaya hindi ako masyado nag-concentrate doon. Mas madali di hamak ang parajumble nung mock exam at actual PTE kesa dito.

@Jaehaerold Thanks sa tips. Nakakaencourage yung scores mo. It somehow helps us think na kakayanin din namin makakuha ng mataas sa exam.

@pakjo ako din naka "taken - scores reportable" na hnd na hold pero wala pang email. Yung incident sa akin kasi namatay yung monitor ko. Parang yun lang naman nakita ko problem. Tapos may time na lumapit yung isang girl tapso sabi nya minimise voice.. ganun lang.

Balitaan mo ako kapag nakuha mo na score mo🙂 3rd day mo ako 2nd day.

Nakuha ko na scores ko. Makukuha mo na din yan within 24 hours kung ganyan na status nung iyo.

I would like to say thank you for all the people na nasa forum na to. I took the PTE-Academic yesterday and passed it. Sobrang thank you guys and kay GOD for guiding me in this journey. Pag nawawalan na ako ng pag-asa date sa exam, lage akong pumupunta sa forum na eto para magbasa ng mga inspiring stories. Indeed, PTE-academic is the answer 🙂 🙂

Hello Peeps, question. Say for instance, yung unang take mo, pumasa, then sa second take mo, naging unfortunate at hindi nakapasa. valid pa din yung unang exam?
