Bases sa link na binigay mo, dapat meron ka na lahat (or mabilis lang kunin) ng needed docs to satisfy Combination 1:

Cat A: Visa Grant Letter

Cat B: Passport

Cat C: Credit Card (with your name and Signature) or Bank Statement.

Cat C: Medicare Card

Cat D: Tanancy Agreement or TFN Letter (as long as merong Address)

@engr_boy in my case, ang binigay ko lang ay passport and bank statement. nasa bank statement kasi ang address ko. yun lang! pero ewan ko, baka iba rules diyan sa WA, so just be prepared with the other docs baka sakaling hingiin.

nakapag-transfer ng foreign driver's license na ako dito sa WA. mabilis naman ang proseso, dami lang tao kasi monday ako pumunta. mga 1hr 30 mins. ok na. may papel na to follow na lang sa mail yung lisensya. pati sa motor (R-E) meron din pala ako kasi kasama sa sg license. di nga ako marunong kahit scooter eh. lolz! thank you backdoor license from singapore!

Tanong lang po with regards to the “three month” rule, nag-Initial Entry ako ng Dec2014 for 6 days only in Sydney and I never drove while I was in there.

Currently, I’m overseas, but I plan to come back to Oz this coming Dec2015, for good…. Kung magddrive na ko sa Dec2015, dun pa lang ba magsstart yung counting ng 3 months or noon pang last 2014, although hindi naman ako nag-drive?

The 3 months started counting upon your initial entry. I confirmed that during my initial entry last October.

@islaman at iba pang nasa SA, eto naman yung requirements para sa atin.. share ko lang ang nareview ko today.

Mga kailangan (20 yrs old pataas):

Pinas non-pro DL
Theory test
Hazard Perception Test
practical driving test, with an authorised examiner.

After passing a practical driving test with a private authorised examiner, a further practical driving test with a government assessment officer is sometimes required. This is part of the government audit process and is called a validation assessment. There is no charge for this test.

When you have passed these driving tests you will receive a certificate of competency.

Present your certificate of competency at a Service SA customer service centre and apply for a South Australian driver's licence.

After you have paid the fee and had your photograph taken, a temporary driver's licence will be issued and your photo licence will be posted to you.

If you do not pass the practical driving test, or you fail a validation assessment, you can apply for a learner's permit.

Wala din kaming lisensya magasawa kaya no choice uwi muna pinas para magasikaso bago magoz.

ako ay nagdaan sa learners papuntang P1 next month. hay kahirap mamalengke pumasok sa trabaho at magpunta sa kung saan saan panay bus ubos oras, bakit ba kasi hindi ko nabasa ang thread na ito noon.

Pag may DL, mag ttake ka lang theory exam and then pwede mo magamit yung DL mo for 1 year 🙂

yup exactly. ganun na nga. so kung me chance na makakuha muna lisensya sa pinas kumuha muna para makapag drive dito for 3 months saka papa convert sa full license.

@peach17 @sonsi_03 so sa mga wala pang DL and may chance pa na makauwi sa Pinas, the steps are:

Get DL sa Pinas either pro or non-pro
Within 3 months after Au arrival, need to take theory exam kahit wala pang own sasakyan
After theory exam, my Pinas DL will be converted to Au non-pro DL kahit wala pa din akong own car and good for 1 year ang DL na'to.

Au non-pro DL means I can 'solo' drive na...
