  hi. yes its possible as long as you can get registered with APHRA after your studies. post study visa is given to those who finished a degree in Australia satisfying the Australian study requirement, normally 2 years binibigay to a max of 4 years. this will give you time to get a sponsor onshore or work after your studies. This is based on personal experience of the cousin in law of my husband who took up BSN here.

  hi again, hope you can help me again on this. i just read some forum here regarding student visa refusal or GTE i hope you have ideas bout this, i am a registered nurse since 2010 and got my first hospital job right after graduation up until 2012 then i decided to apply for another job which is in sales because of low compensation. do you think they will accept the fact that i did not practice my profession from 2012 to 2015 ? pls pahelp po

  Hi guys! yes it is really possible that you will get a job after the bachelor course here. they need more nurses here. Just keep in mind na marami na ring mga aussie citizens na nag aaral na rin nang nursing and sila ang priority to get hired based on exp. Marami na din changes sa immigration rules but fortunately overseas nurses are not affected yet.. That's why bilisan na natin at punoin na nang pinoy RNs ang aussie. hahaha.. btw, i only got few more weeks left to finish my Bachelor degree in nursing here. Kitakits!

  @joicey hello dear! Hindi naman masyado mahirap kasi alam na natin mga concept. Nahirapan lang ako sa academic writing nung umpisa. Puro kasi essay ang mga assessments nila diro..Pero masanay ka rin. Hehehe.. Yes im married and brought my husband here in land down under. Good luck hun!

  @carla20 nope nasa southern highlands ako at the moment... depende yan sa swerte sis.. sabi nang iba mahirap mag hanap nang work sa sydney in nursing homes you need to show them atleast cert 3 in aged care. Nasa may regional area kasi ako kaya tinaggap ako nang employer ko kasi short staff sila non kahit wala akong aged care cert. Pero dpende din yan sa swerte at dasal sis..

  hi there, just curious anyone here who took up bachelors program and got job as a nurse right after? meron po ba? what do we mean by post study visa?

  Kung walang sponsor, pwede ka naman magtrabaho as agency nurse, so yung employer mo yung agency tapos ipapadala ka sa iba't ibang facility kung saan short staffed
