Uni cancelled my Coe due to early course completion

Mga kababayan, sana matulungan nyo po ako at sana maging aral po sa mga naka student visa na kagaya ko. gulong gulo na po yung utak ko.
Nandito po kami ng buo kong pamilya sa Australia holding 573 Visa.

Visa expiry - 28 Feb 2017
COE expiry - 31 Dec 2016
Uni advised i completed the course - 31 August 2016

Ngayong araw po nakatanggap ako ng email from uni na ang sabi cancelled na yung COE ko kasi daw po natapos ko ng maaga yung course ko. Sabi pa po sa uni notice, i have only 28 days to stay in Australia.

Nag aayos na po ako ng papel to apply for graduate visa at nakaschedule po ako kumuha ng ielts this month.

Baka po may nakakaalam ng ibang options para makapag stay dito. Maapektuhan po ba yung application ko ng graduate visa ng cancellation ng COE ko.

Napaka inconsiderate po ng school, wala man lang pong notice na ikacancel nila yung COE as early as I expected.

hi sis, i believe hindi naman makakacancel agad agad iyong visa mo kasi valid pa siya until 2017. better call immigration na lang to clarifiy. iyong 28 days na stay in Australia is given to those whose visa have expired already. Ang weird naman niyang case mo.

oo @lyn0422 yun yung advise ng migration agent na nakausap namin, mag enroll daw ako sa english course for academics para magkaron ako ng COE

ang nakakapanglumo lang sabi ng agent hindi advisable mag lodge ng 485 graduate visa kasi although nameet ko yung requirements sa graduate work stream (yung stream na may skills assessment requirement) hindi pa rin daw papasok yung case ko kasi daw yung visa ko nagrant after 5 Nov 2011

sabi kasi ng agent yung graduate work stream ay limited lang sa mga student visa grantees before 5 Nov 2011, hindi daw pwede mamili. In some, sabi ng agent:

Student visa granted BEFORE 5 Nov 2011 - Graduate work stream ka lang (first visa ko is 2014)
Student visa granted AFTER 5 Nov 2011 - Post Study Work Stream lang

Hindi daw pwede mamili.

Sa website kasi ng immigration, eto yung requirements ng graduate work stream:

At the time you apply for this visa you must:
• be in Australia;
• be under 50 years of age;
• hold a valid visa;
• hold or have held an eligible Student visa in the last 6 months;
• have met the Australian study requirement in the last 6 months;
• have applied for a skills assessment in your nominated
occupation from the Skilled Occupation List (SOL);
• have evidence that you, and all persons included in this
application, have adequate health insurance;
• have evidence you have applied for a check of criminal records
with the Australian Federal Police for you and all persons
included in this application who are aged 16 years or over; and
• have evidence of the required level of English at the time you
apply for your visa.

Nag iisip tuloy ako kung hihingi ako ng 2nd opinion kasi sa tingin ko pasok ako sa graduate work stream.

Tanong ko pa sa agent, kung marefuse po ba ako sa graduate visa, may effect po ba yun sa magiging application ko as PR in the future. Sabi nya lang patuloy mo syang idedeclare sa lahat ng applications mo na once in a lifetime, narefuse yung application mo.

@blended alam ko pinagbabasehan talaga is course completion kasi may chance talaga you will finish early lalo na dun sa mga unis na may trimester. ang nababasa ko na ginagawa ng iba, as soon as they have completed the course which is many months pa before your graduation, you can start your application for the graduate visa. bakit di ka na lang mag-apply for post study work stream since na-meet mo din naman requirement, i suppose?

@leelou thanks for the comments. Hindi ako qualify sa post study work stream kasi yung masteral ko 1 year lang, dapat 2 years. Hindi ko din mairelate yung other courses ko kasi yung mga sumunod na courses ko, although related sya sa masteral ko, graduate diploma lang at graduate cert lang yung level nya.

Pero dun sa isang stream (Graduate Work Stream), lam ko mami-meet ko yung requirements. Ang issue lang ng migration agent, hindi ako pwedeng maqualify sa Graduate Work Stream kasi yung first student visa ko e granted after 5 Nov 2011, so sabi nya limited lang ako dun sa Post Study Work Stream.

Magpapa reassess nga ulit ako sa agent kasi nung tiningnan ko yung requirements ng Subclass 485 (Graduate Work Stream), wala naman syang limitation as to the date of first student visa. Bale ang merong limitation e yung isang stream (post study work stream).
