hi,
i am newbie in pinoy au forum. I am Quantity surveyor and currently employed in Singapore. My Husband and I were planning to relocate in Australia.
1. Completed Application Form;
2. A Curriculum Vitae or Resume;
3. Certified copy of all relevant formal qualifications, including all transcripts;
- may expiration po ang certified true copy kasi yung diploma at TOR ko ay year 2007 pa and DFA authenticated (2007).
- pwede na po bng diploma at TOR lang...how about PRC license, kelangan p b?
4. Employment Reference (on Corporate Letterhead) to include referee’s contact details; and
5. Certified copy of IELTS test report (minimum level 6 on all 4 criteria).
- ibig po ba sabihin eh mas mauna ko pong aayusin yung IELTS before assessment? unlike po sa ACS assessment muna then IELTS.
And tanong ko na rin po kung kelangan bang dalawa kami ni hubby na magpa-assess and kumuha ng IELTS. Yung husband ko po kasi ay Web developer with total 7yrs experienced na...we both check in SOL and parehas po kami na pasado sa Skilled immigrants.
Hoping for your advise.
Thanks and regards,
Beverly

Employment Reference (on Corporate Letterhead) to include referee’s contact details
_Yes need po ng employment reference from previous employers, if you can't get it gawa ka ng Statutory Declaration stating why you cant provide the employment reference tapos pa notaryo mo. I suggest you read thoroughly the guidelines for AIQS kasi it varies depending on the assessing body.
Certified copy of IELTS test report (minimum level 6 on all 4 criteria).
-Yes you need to take IELTS first before you apply for assessment. Engineers Australia requires this also. Actually di sila nagkakalayo ng requirements sa EA minus the CDR of course..
hope these help! goodluck!

I am a CE graduate pero QS ang professsion, I have actually submitted my docs to AIQS pero i got a "not suitable" result. Ang basis nila is because wala daw ako QS degree and cannot further assess my experience. Im reading some posts n Vetassess daw. peru unsure of this.
Appreciate your help
Thanks. God Bless.

The Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AIQS) is the assessing authority nominated by the Australian Government to provide expert advice to the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) about qualifications and skilled employment experience in respect of the skilled occupation of Quantity Surveyor ANZSCO 233213.
A copy of our current Skilled Migration Assessment Policy and Application Form are available for download from our website http://www.aiqs.com.au/AIQS_Website/Migration/AIQS_Website/Public/Skilled_Migration_Assessment/Skilled_Migration.aspx?hkey=cb5d8c7c-82fd-4395-9bd2-e1ecf01c08fc.
The qualification requirement in Section 7.1 of our Skilled Migration Assessment Policy states that applicants must have a degree in "Quantity Surveying or Construction Management and Economics". The definition of "Quantity Surveying" is interpreted by the definition set out in Section 2 of the Policy. Therefore, applicants with degrees in allied professions can be considered. Our Assessors would conduct a further assessment of qualifications, upon application, based on your degree and related transcript documents. Our Assessors would also conduct an assessment on your skilled employment, upon application.
Please note as an assessing authority, the AIQS does not allocate points and we are unable to provide migration advice. It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure they understand the requirements of the Australian Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) for the visa they wish to apply for http://www.immi.gov.au/.
We hope this further information assists you.

"Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering was not recognised and so experience gained after completion of this degree was not recognised. According to the policy only those experience gained after the completion of suitable degree is assessed. As your post graduate diploma was recognised experience gained after completion of this qualification was recognised."
Last week (07 June 2017), I sent another email to AIQS and this was the response:
"You may claim the experience obtained after your Post Graduate Diploma."
