Yes pwede kang mamili ng clinic kung san ka mag pamedical. Kung sa Metro Manila, I think choice is either St. Luke's BGC or Nationwide Makati.

Regarding pagpapamedical, IMHO I think it's a misconception na kelangan mag antay ng CO contact para magpamedical kapag gagawin mo sya after maglodge -- when actually, right after lodging your visa, you can already generate your HAP ID without waiting for CO contact. his is from my own experience lang kasi I took my medicals after lodging and since mabilis lang makuha results. So para sa akin, walang difference na magpamedical before or after lodging your visa kasi mabilis lang naman makuha yung results. Mas gusto ko na din kasing mas maaga nang nalodge yung visa ko - at least nakapila na kumbaga.

Siguro, a reason to recommend doing your medicals before lodging, is if you have reason to believe na baka matagalan bumalik results ng medical niyo. Otherwise, tingin ko same same lang.

@auitdreamer IMHO naman, it is not just a misconception na you should wait for CO contact before magpamedical if you already lodged your visa...it's a MUST.
Kasi as far as I can recall, mayroon talagang reminder na magfa-flash pag naggenerate ka ng HAP ID na you should not generate HAP ID if you had already lodged your visa to avoid further delay in the process. I think, it doesn't have to do with the medical process itself but yung assessment ng CO if ever. Kasi may question sa Visa application if you already had medical test prior the application. So if hindi pa, you'll answer NO dito..eh by that time na mareview na ng CO, nakapagpamedical ka na right after ng lodge. so supposedly YES na dapat yung nasa application mo. Ang gulo no? HEhehe. So yun nga..baka maguluhan si CO kaya may ganung reminder and yun yung magcause ng delay sa process or whatsoever.

I don't think they would make such reminder if it won't affect the process by any means.
Just my 2 cents though. To each his own.

@vhenzchico hmmm. You make a valid point din. Though wala namang lumabas sa akin na ganoong warning - I generated my health referral using yung "Health Assessments" section after lodging my visa application. Maybe tama pa rin naman yung sagot na di pa ako nagpamedical before lodging kasi nagpamedical naman ako after lodging. Haha! Gulo! Anyhoo, I followed lang din yung instructions sa kin ng consultant ko. Kaya naghire na ako ng consultant kasi I noticed paminsan may conflicting views. But of course, in the end, we're all just trying to help each other out.

Like you said, to each his own. I respect your opinion, as well. Hopefully maging ok naman lahat ng application natin. Good luck to everyone's applications.

@Kris_New halos pareho lang yung 2 forms. kung isa lang gusto mong gawin mas preferred ang Form 80. Tama ka, 16 year old and above lang ang kailangan magpasa.

@PCK in the end it's up to you what you feel most comfortable doing. There are those who did the same as me who did their medicals after lodging and printed their medical referral using the link available after lodging (w/o CO contact) and got a direct grant (i saw in another forum that there's one who got it in only a week and a half after lodging). While there are those who prefer to do their medicals prior to lodging. I think there's a fair chance of getting a direct grant with either method and there are merits to each option.

Note that there's a difference with how you generate your HAP id before lodging (through my Health declaration w/ 9 pages to fill up) and after lodging (health assessment link available in account page w/ 1 page questionnaire to answer). I think what could possibly cause a delay is if you attempt to use My Health declaration to generate a HAP ID after you've lodged a visa application (instead of using the Health Assessment link available in the account page).

Hi all

i am trying to fill-in HAP ID sa immiaccount but may error po:

HAP ID is invalid. It must be up to twenty (20) numbers + optional leading 'H'

I double-checked sa Information Sheet, tama naman nilagay ko (hap id has 8 digits)
anyone encountered this? how did u go about it?

@PCK Tama si @auitdreamer it all boils down kung san ka mas kumportable. Ang reason nung iba na nagpamedical before lodging aside from aiming a DG is gusto nila maka-sure muna sa result ng medicals kung ok. If confident ka naman na your medcal will be OK, pedeng after lodging kna pa-medical, before ka ma-assign ng CO. Usually naman 1 week after lodging nasisilip ang application mo, so if you are confident na by that time eh Ok na results mo, go on.
Else, if you have the money na for medical, then I suggest go for it before lodging. Para less worry by the time na maglodge ka.
Either way, I think, you'll receive the grant kung ok naman lahat.

Anong klase po bang test ang gagawin? and ano ang reason para mareject ka dahil sa medical result? example po, pano pag mataas ang cholesterol. ok lang ba yun. sorry sa weird question.

@pumpupkiks Physical exam, interview sa mga history ng sakit, vitals like bp, BMI, eyetest; urinalysis, cbc, hiv test, xray.
Yung mga bata, HEPA B test.
I guess pag may findings pero minor lang like mataas bp, etc..ina-advise lang pero di naman nade-deny.
May nabasa pa nga ako na cancer stage 1 sya pero na-approved pa din. Though you need to sign some kind of waiver ata yun na you'll seek and follow-up your health check-ups once you landed in Oz.
Mahigpit lang talaga sila sa TB. Any past history or indirect condition na magle-lead dito (like lung scar cguro), you need to undergo sputum test tsaka pag nagpositive is may 6mos na gamutan pa.
Pero di naman marereject ang visa mo..medyo maho-hold lang unless na-prove mo na OK na yung conditions mo.
