Hi guys, im currently a multiple tourist visa holder to australia that will expire in April 2018. So my plan is to go back to Au this october and apply for a student visa onshore.
    This is possible, right?

Another question: I'm a BSN grad in 2009 in PH, not RN, no working experience either as a healthcare provider. But I have 5 years work experience in Marketing.

Went to IDP school expo yesterday and schools told me that I cannot enroll certificate/diploma course because I am a Bachelors degree holder. They are suggesting me to get Masters degree instead. And that is way too expensive.

Can i get an undergrad course in Marketing since I do not have a formal education in Mktg?

    Thoughts please? Thanks!

Hi @gingerbread01 .. Of course it's possible to get diploma kahit Bachelor's degree grad ka. I'm a BSN grad myself but I got student visa for Diploma in Business. I came here in OZ in 2015. I even did my application diy, no agent. Nagresearch research lang ako online about requirements and stuff. And nagbasa basa sa forums about student visa application. Goodluck :)

That's cool @pepay. Thanks for your inputs. So possible naman pala na kahit i didnt go through IDP sa sydney.

Onshore ka din nag file ng student visa? How long before you get ur visa? Kasi diploma courses starts on Jan and feb. How soon should I leave PH using my tourist visa to process everything?

@gingerbread01 offshore ako nagapply nung 2015. That's my first student visa. Nanjan pa ako sa pinas nun. It took around 40 days for my visa grant. Second student visa ko na ung recently kong nakuha. This one onshore na. 45 days ako nag antay. It's safe to apply siguro 3 months before your intake coz processing times vary and can take up to approximately 90 days. So if January ang intake mo by October or even September apply ka na. :)

    thanks @pepay for your advise.

    1. So, you think na mas hindi mahigpit mag apply onshore kesa offshore?

    2. So yung GTE written lang sya diba, wala nag interview in person?

3.The school allowed you to take diploma course tho, BSN grad ka diba, Pero ang work experience mo ba related sa kinuha mong diploma?

    4. Another thing, madali bang mag apply ng partime job?

    1. Honestly I think same lang since same lang naman sila ng basis of assessment whether offshore or onshore application.I mean same rules and all. I can only advise as of my own experience. Ako kasi same types ng requirements lang naman sinubmit ko.

    2. Yah GTE statement is written.
Interview in person? I'm not sure. However, I've read from some forums na may ilan na iniinterview via phone. But them some wala naman interview like me.

    3. Yah my work experience is related to my course. I worked for my dad. It's a family business which ako ung pinagmanage.

    4. Part time job.. well hard to say if madali or mahirap kasi it depends sa maraming factors like sa availability ng jobs sa area na titigilan mo.. sa skills mo .. sa job preferences mo.. or minsan sa luck :)

Hi guys. I just lodged my student VISA yesterday and will be doing my medical this Monday. My school starts on 18th of September. Do you think I will be able to get my VISA then? All my requirements are complete except for my medical. Assuming I'm all cleared for my medical, is it possible to get the VISA processed in 3 weeks? And approved before the start of my classes?

Hi @TLLR, kamusta visa application mo? I lodged mine last 23rd of August, medical nung 24th. Nagreply and embassy around Aug 30 asking to extend my health insurance for another 2 weeks which ginawa naman namin. After that, I'm still not hearing anything from them. Still waiting for my visa to be granted. Kamusta po yung inyo? Supposedly, yung class ko nagstart nung Sept 4 pero dahil wala pa yung visa ko, we sent a letter sa school. Binago na ng school ang start date. New start date ko ay Oct 9 so I'm praying to get it the soonest.
