Hi. newbiw lang po with this thread. I chose ACN. Di ko pa masabi if OK, dahil nasa 2nd stage pa lang kami. Meron silang 5 stages y the way.

Hi @Mau766. Si Jasmine Magsalin po agent namin dito. May partner RMA sya sa AUS, si Willie Natividad.
    So far OK pa naman.

@dylanriley anong stage na po kayo?

Hello everyone, I would like to share about the experience of my husband. He is a skilled worker specifically auto mechanic. We applied thru ASM or Australian Skilled Migration Agency on the 2nd week of June 2019 sa fb. After that, nagtake ng PTE exam around July 2019, then nagpamedical around August 2019, then Vetassess Assessment on October 2019. Na-approve 482 visa niya on November 2019. Then nag resign na sya sa work, waited for 2 months kasi kinuha pa nya separation benefits nya. Yung agency muna yung nagbayad sa Vetassess Assessment fee nya nung October 2019. Nagbayad sya sa Vetassess Assessment nung Feb 2020 before sya lumipad papuntang Australia. Need lang ng at least 5 yrs experience sa skill mo and i-ready na yung docs like transcript of records ng high school, vocational course, at college, training certifications related sa skills nya, marriage cert, coe, payslips, tesda certs, etc.. Yan po, just wanna share lang po. Thanks God, nakarating na ng Australia husband ko on Feb 26 before pumutok yung covid pandemic..

Given po na ang kelangan ng mga offshore candidates are job offer to be even invited for a 491 visa at sobrang taas ng kelangan na points for 189 dahil sa limited number of slots, may migration agency ba na nagpoprovide ng job placement? May nakita akong AD from an agency called my new Australian life na may offer na job and accommodation pa. I don't know if legit na agency sya.

For the program nila na may job offer, they will look into companies kasi na hiring that would fit sa qualification mo once approved na ung visa.

So this just means that you have to have the visa first. This needs to be emphasized. They will not look for an employer who will sponsor you. That should be clear because a lot of people are expecting these kind of agencies will be looking for a sponsor for you which is misleading.

Visa first, then they will look for companies for you? You can easily do it yourself once you have the visa and competent CV.

@Kaidan hello po, ano po difference ng agency who will look for an employer to sponsor you VS. agency who will assist you on seeking job? Arent they same po? Thank you.

Job seeking wouldn't be any different from a local recruiter.

Having an actual employer sponsored visa like a 482, you're basically an OFW which is what people think when they hear the word "agency"

I think most of them do it by progress/milestone. Baka meron lang initial fee na babayaran then the balance by progress/milestone na. Kung meron mga one time billing, personally I would not suggest to engage with them. Risky yung one time billing. sa panahon ngayon maraming scamaz.

I agree with you Sir.. we prefer na wag maglabas ng malaking pera on the situation we are in right now. And we are not rushing to migrate in the next 12 months.. If progress billing is the norm ok po kmi hehehe.. thank you Sir

Hi there! I’m a migration agent myself. When dealing with a registered agent, make sure you ask for their MARA number. If they have this it means they are qualified to provide advice. To be qualified, one has to do a post grad course in Australian immigration law and practice so make sure you are dealing with a qualified one otherwise you’re being ripped off. Unfortunately, there are a lot out their who capitalise on people’s dream for a better future. The best way to search for agents is via www.mara.gov.au you can search via location if you wish. Just a tip when you check the mara number, the first 2 digits represents the year they first registered. For example, my MARN is 1171933 - this means I first registered in 2011. This then will be an indication your end to gauge how much experience the agent you’re looking at dealing with. Checkout the Mara website and try to search for agents and get quotes from them, shop around before you decide which agent to go with. More often than not, having the chance to talk to them would also help you decide if that’s the right agent for you.

    All the best

I don’t think I’m the best person to ask for a recommended agency. I have my own agency - visa consort and of course I will always recommend ours hehe Why don’t you complete our web form - www.visaconsort.com (click yellow bar). It’s no obligation anyway just so you have something to compare to. The case you’ve got we charge from £1,700 that’s about P115K more or less. Do more search on Mara website for a few more agencies. Once you’ve got a few quotes, decide which agent to engage.

    Hope that helps.
