True. Timing is everything talaga. We can never tell when are we gonna be invited.

We may have "wasted" efforts and money to increase our points, but that is because we are doing our part for the application. That is where we are at peace with our application. I remember trying to get superior score in PTE just to have additional 10 points, and even booked NAATI (buti may refund). Kung siguro alam ko lang na ganto ang mangyayare, I would definitely not do it and keep my points low.

So for me, no more sayang!
God is in control talaga. Dadating din ang time ng ibang applications.

Not claiming points naman na po. Nilagay ko lang din sya sa EOI kasi nilagay ko sya sa CV na pinasa ko kay EA since relevant naman sana. Kinulang lang sa docs talaga. Noted po. Tag ko nalang as not relevant sa EOI para di rin ako mahirapan sa docs in the future. Thanks po!

Yes.
Kasi any change of circumstances from ITA to VISA grant from single to defacto or married, mababawasan ang points. Hence your application may be refused.

May mga criteria dun sa age kung napunta na sa next bracket, PTE kung expired na, yung assessment na expire na at the time of invite.

The federal government pledged $36 million in extra funding at September’s Jobs and Skills Summit to hire 500 surge staff over the next nine months to process visas.

Mr Giles said there were now 260 more staff processing visas compared to when the election was held, while another 260 are being onboarded.

In coming months sir, they will hire additional staff to address this :-)

they do. kaya nga hindi nagpapakasal yung iba kasi once may circumstantial change, affected ang points.

dun sa experience points, as i've mentioned, hindi na yan nagagalaw. more on the marital status yung restriction.

I meant like, if you have, say 90 points, does that guarantee a faster grant than someone with 70 pts? (given that they’re both uncomplicated cases) Or would points no longer matter?

Only factors such as co contact/request for further documents nalang will influence the length of grant?

Maganda yan. I wonder kung nagincrease na sila ng case officers. Di uso ang overtime sa AU. Kaya sana madagdagan ng case officers para bumilis ang processing.

The federal government pledged $36 million in extra funding at September’s Jobs and Skills Summit to hire 500 surge staff over the next nine months to process visas.

Mr Giles said there were now 260 more staff processing visas compared to when the election was held, while another 260 are being onboarded.

In coming months sir, they will hire additional staff to address this :-)

Kaya nga spoon feed lahat ng docs yung tipong walang tanong tanong na si case officer. Para di na matabunan and ilagay sa dulo ang application hehe. Pagkita agad, visa grant agad. haha

ahhh this is what you meant. walang factor ang points sa bilis ng visa processing. wala nga yata silang queueing e. kasi merong naggrant na mas mabilis kesa dun sa mga mas matagal na nag lodge...

Nung 2020 may bias sila sa processing sa medical professionals. May mga kasabayan ako na nauna pa ako maglodge pero sila granted in days lang. So baka yan pa rin trend now

Mukhang ganun nga po. Nakakadismaya lang din sa mga occupations na hindi in shortage pero matataas ang points. Occupation-based ang criteria nila, not points-based.

P.S baka outdated lang yung planning levels. hindi pa kasama yung portion sa additional 34-35k places announced nung jobs summit.

Announced po bale ang planning levels before ng job summit. So baka kasama na ung confirmed 30k plus additional cap na diniclared during summit 😀
