  Hi! My employer submitted my nomination on October. Still no approval. Our visas expire this March. I am getting worried honestly

  Hello- 186 DE here. Sydney metro area.
  Sinabay yong visa application + nomination last 28 August 2024 ko, cleared medical 1st week of September, wala pa balita until now. Meron ako nabalitaan na sabay yong nomination approval and grant. Yong workmates ko is after 16 months na approve yong visa. Mabagal si 186.

  Eto yong timeline sa pinaka last na approve samin.

  Do they prioritize applications for rural australia? There's one group in reddit na i joined and several received their grants within 3-6mos, but they're all from rural australia. Anyway, I'm applying for 186 TRT in the next few weeks pero confused when I'll exactly be eligible. Came here Jan 2023 under the subclass 400 visa and as soon as on shore, applied for 482 for the same company. Have received the grant March 3, 2023 but my official start date with the company is March 27 because it took a while for HR to move me across. Pero i was already working for them since arrival. So wondering if I should follow my grant date or official start date for the 2yr count.

  This is very promising para sa situation namin!
  We just don't want the hassle of exiting Australia when our visa expires so the answer is we lodge our visa kahit waiting pa for the nomination approval. Thanks for sharing this!
