dhoodsie - same thing, sinama din nila yung exp ko from 1996 to 2003 pero nung nag fill out na ako ng EOI, di talaga ako naka 8 years...

sad lang nashort pa ako ng 5 points which I badly needed. Now I need to work on my IELTS to claim points.

@gabetrotter - kung ma approve ang tanong mo, i think ma approve ka naman. Ang question is....... ilang years i-credit sa work experience mo and....... if your course is comparable to a Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Australia.

Question po. sa mga may ACS assesment result before May, yung current employment ba eh nacacalculate? Like say for example, i will be with my present company for 3 years in the next few months, and that will complete my 8 years/10 as required to get 15 points. I was short a few months when my ACS result came out. Pano po kaya yun? Would that be automatically added, or yung effective date was the date na nasa result? Please enlighten me.

@raiden14 I think you could claim 15pts when you get invited to lodge your visa and at that point you have already at least 8yrs work exp. You just need to prove that you're still working with your current employer by providing latest COE from them. Wag lng siguro maapektuhan ng bagong rule ng ACS.

- points for Work Exp - is based "at the time of EOI invitation".. so kung nag increase na ang points mo from the time of your assessment result, you just need to update your EOI and provide latest COE from the same company, of course assuming that you are doing the same job...

Hello,

Tanong ko lang po and iconfirm yung below before ako mag submit ng application. I am 95% ready na to submit.

1. Online lang po ba application sa ACS? No need na magpadala ng mga documents?
2. Sa mga may Microsoft / CCNA certification, sa certificate kasi hindi mentioned yung ID and password to verify online. Paano po ninyo minention yun sa application ninyo? Ang ginawa ko kasi nilagay ko sa CV ko at sa detailed job description from my employer nung time na naacquire ko yung certification. Tama po kaya yung ginawa ko o may separate kayong doc just for the verification credentials?

I hope someone share their thoughts.

@eccen3k - yung sa akin ganito ang ginawa ko.

1. Online ang ACS application ko, which is mas mabilis maglodge ng application for assessment. Based sa experience ng kasama kong pinoy dito sa work, hindi sya nagsubmit ng hard copy, lahat ng docs nya ay scanned copy ng mga Certified True Copy. Ang pagkakaalam ko dati (2009) need mong ipadala ang hard copy, pero ngayon soft copy ok na, unless hingin sayo.

2. May MS certification ako, separate document sya at dun ko inupload sa Relevance Qualification section, separate pdf file sya.
Regarding sa ID at password for Microsoft certifiacation, kailangan mong ishare ang MS transcript mo and then iprint mo ito to PDF. So bale ang pages ko for MS Certification e ganito
page 1 - yung transctipt id and access code mo, para makita agad nila at kapag nagverify sila sa https://mcp.microsoft.com/authenticate/validatemcp.aspx , makikita nila ang MS credentials mo.
Page 2 - isinama ko na rin ang MS Transcript ko (downdable sa MS MCP site - https://mcp.microsoft.com)

@dhoodsie - 12 months talaga.. yung sa akin 4th week na ngayon... sana ok ang result at macredit lhat ng experience ko

Yung page mo ba for the id and password at yung transcript eh notarized din o yung certificate lang? Currently yung certificate lang ang CTC'ed sa akin. And yung all MS certification mo ba is in 1 PDF file lang nung pinass mo? May 2 kasi akong MCTS but not sure if need ko sya isubmit sa 1 PDF file lang. Kung 1 PDF file lang... di ba may date completion per document sa online application? So nasa isip ko tig 1 upload sila meaning tig 1 pdf file. Tama kaya yun?

@eccen3K, graduate ka ng anong course and what section ang school mo? For ACS, pag wala kang Bachelors degree mag ma-matter ang mga certifications... Kasi for them ang katumbas ng vendor certs ay AQF Diploma, but if you graduated sa section 1 and 2 (with PRC) ng school most probably yan ang highest na makukuha mo sa education which is AQF Bachelors degree.. If that is the case for you kahit yung downloadable transcript from MCP site then pa CTC mo ok lang...

But if you are claiming for vendor cert along at di mo natapos ang bachelors degree (example lang)... then I think you have to do extra effort to showcase your vendor certs...

Goodluck sa ating lahat. Mine is 10 weeks today at wala pa ding linaw kung kailan ko matatanggap result ng assessment. Maybe in less than 2 weeks time e lalabas na based sa current na 12 weeks processing.

@eccen3k - hindi ko na pinanotarize kasi they can verify it naman sa MS site kung legit o hindi ang claim mo na meron kang MS Certification.. Kahit Transcript at certificate ng MS cert ko hindi ko na pina-CTC.
Then lahat sila 1 PDF file lang kasi under sila ng Microsoft (as Institute). kung marami ka namang certification sa MS lahat yun lalabas sa Transcript mo, kaya yung page 2 ko andun ang transctipt, then page 3 and so on andun ang certificates..

Note: kaya inilagay ko sa page 1 ang details ng transcript ID and Access Code dahil sa na-experience ng kasama kong pinoy dito na dun sa last page ng PDF nya inilagay. Yung assessor hindi yata binasa lahat ng pages, kaya binalikan sya at hinahanapan ng Transcript ID & Access Code. so ginawa nya sinabi nya na nasa last page then nag-upload ulit sya ng panibagong PDF na nasa first page.

@amcasperforu so if may certification ka and either section 1 or 2 yung school mo most likely bachelors degree kana? Pero they will still deduct two years from your work experience diba?

Helo po, just want to ask regarding reference letter, my current company will only provide general coe and I worry baka po kasi tanggalin nila aku if magka hint sila na paalis aku.. Pwede po ba na general COE + recommendation from my team mates? Meron po ba pareho sa case ko? Please share. thanks

@claire, grabe naman company mo if tatangalin ka dahil lang sa malaman nila na paalis ka?

Gawin mo hingi ka generic COE or kung puede hingi ka din ng letter from HR na nagsasabi na hindi sila nag proprovide ng detailed COE maybe due to confidentiality or whatever reason + if possible na makakuha ka ng paper with company logo (with contact numbers ng company) at gumawa ka ng sarili mong detailed reference letter na may pirma ng any colleague with higher position sayo.

@pmzinoz yung makukuha ko po sa HR is general COE lang plus yung sa reference letter from my colleague, panu if wala company logo, pero mgprprovide ng ID and contact number?
